I am finding this is the way to remove lock handle. I am telling you, when lock is reinstalled (it was an old lock, holder was jumped), when I turn to right from outside position, lock holds and lags. I don’t know if this is about “adjust the lock.” I did not adjust this pre-installed lock. Thank you for letting me fix my lock! For one hour my door was held in place closed with one sock only! Let me tell you that one lock > one sock any day of the week! Thank you my friend for the help.

Hi, actually to lock the door, first press the button on the inner side of the lock unit. Then just pull the door and close it. The door is now locked. You will need key to open from outside.

Finally you start installing real door locks in India. To secure your home and business with a old fashioned lever lock is ridiculous. Just a knob isnt sufficient security thou. Add a good deadbolt as well.

Only side latch unit is not available for sale in the market. If any component of the lock is damaged you will need to buy another lock unit. If you are purchasing new lock, then it is advisable to take the old lock unit since you can compare it with new one when buying.

Yes. Unlocking using sliding card or lamination sheet is possible when there is slightly bigger gap between door and door frame. So if perfect cutting of door size is done, then it will be a theft proof door.

Hello Pranav Shastry Brother, Thanks for your video Bro. When I installed it, it is working fine to unlock from outside. When Iam trying to lock the door and close it, door is not closing bro, nob is stopping and not allowing to close the door

It might be a mechanical problem between the latch and the wall lock unit due to incorrect bend angle. Try some troubleshooting and see if the latch is moving smoothly.

Hi, it can be installed provided the door thickness is within the specified limit. However, it is recommended for wooden doors.
