In USA, three wires enter home: +120v, -120v, and neutral which is connected to center tap of transformer and ground rod at the pole. A grounding electrode (ground rod) is required near the service entrance at the home. A connection to the ground electrode at the home is bonded to the neutral at the first disconnect point. So the neutral is grounded both at the poll and in the house.

I have a doubt. As t568b pairing shows white blue with green and white green with blue wire but for coonection you pair the same color combination with,,, why so????
