It's worth mentioning that talking about mood of "Kind of Blue" and right way and right people to play it, Bill Evans is never mentioned by this distinguished group of Black musicians, yet the whole concept of "Kind of Blue" came from him and, at the time, he was one the few musicians able to play modal jazz and was one of the originators of that style.
