I am so happy to see AMT finally releasing model kits that are not based on annuals from the 60's. Kits that have separate frames and rear axles, and more detail. I can finally start looking at building modern AMT kits.
@urbanurchin5930Ай бұрын
.....Yes , I saw a comment last month where someone was crying about the multi-piece frame and suspension detail on the 1966 Riviera kit . BOOOOOO HOOOOOO . I am a huge fan of THE MORE PARTS - THE BETTER ! I am a scratch builder and often do complicated kit-bashing to create one-of-a-kind builds . The multi-piece sub frame / axles / suspension are one of my favorite parts of this hobby . Sometimes , I will buy a kit - just for unique parts that I can't make from scratch .

I want to say your videos are great! And I ordered a kit a little while back and there was a production glitch with one of the parts trees. Your customer service dept replaced the bad part right away and I was able to finish my build without issue! Love this company!

WOW! After a summer of no new HO slot car releases, The BRE(Brock Racing Enterprises, Pete Brock)releases are fantastic, especially the Bobby Allison car. Not too many people know that the good ol' boy Alabama Gang NASCAR star Bobby also jumped into the Trans Am 2.5 liter C/Production wars with the BRE team. The Thunderjet Willys releases are going to be snatched up by the collectors The yellow w/green #4 is a copy of the Aurora XLerators II model, which was an inline motor chassis, borrowing from the G-Plus and had a longer wheelbase, so the original TJet molds had to be modified with larger rear wells. But this is obviously the standard wb body. The other one with red paint is pretty damn neat! IT's a throwback nostalgia version that features copies of the side B/GS decals that came with the T-Jet Willys in the box AND a few of the classic decals from the Thunderjet Hop Up Kit decal sheet, the skull and crissbones DEAD END and yellow ball racing numbers applied the way that MANY kids, including myself, applied them! It would be nice if this guy who does the videos had some knowledge of this stuff

Ok Ok Ok now I like that “Drag-n-Drive” set! I hope that it becomes a well supported line. A display with 3 or 4 around a gas station or in front of popular checkpoint would be really fun to recreate! Well done! The Drag look on this model is much better than what we have been given with most of not all of the streetoutlaw crew. Question, why hasn’t Round2 partnered with “Cleetus McFarland” yet? He has arguably some of the most recognizable/popular vehicles to come along in many years! Maybe Round2 has reached and an agreement could not be made, I dunno but sure seems like a lot of potential revenue is being wasted as the time that has passed already with no Option for fans/collectors to Bring “Neighbor, Rubby, Leroy and Mullet into our offices, homes, and workshops” really is a shame. I understand that everyone on both sides have teams filled with some of the best folks around so their plates surely stay full 24-7. And to bring on another project with fair depth of scope may be asking too much of them. I understand and respect the potential situation so I volunteer my time and effort to assist in the development of a “Freedom Factory” series in any magnitude you see fit. Including but not limited to “kicking rocks” “choking down a bag of, another internet clown” or a drafting my own “ cease and desist complaint” But really I didn’t intend on writing this but I’ve thought about it for to long to make some attempt to get the ball rolling or spark off someone really great. To take no action at all would be hypocritical and sending a email with a similar sentiment to one of the Round2/Garrett Mitchell’s staff may go unnoticed or land in their junk Bin and never get read. The KZbin comment section isn’t likely to be much better but this is where I’m at and what I have to work with. So if anyone by chance reads any of the above message and feels the same way about potentially being able to purchase all the Freedom and man can handle in the scale of 1:64, then please up vote, like , thumb, retweet, tag @CleeetusM and @Round2foryou and let them know how excited you’d be if the option existed for us all to collect high quality detailed diecast models of the cars featured on the Cleetus McFarland KZbin channel and nationwide live events!! Hell Yeah Brother 🇺🇸🦅

The box art for the Monte Carlo kit shows it in front of the Pink Motel in Sun Valley, CA. Used in the original Grease movie and others. Down San Fernando Road from my home in the 1950s. Up the road from my inlaws' home. A mile over from where my brother lives now. When I was a kid we used to occasionally eat in the diner in the front of the motel. A model car friend of mine, famous lowrider model builder Armando Flores, built a diorama of the Pink Motel to display his lowrider models around. I've never been to the El Monte Drive-In. But my wife did with her cousins when she was a kid in the 1960s.

Seeing videos of the back rooms where you store vintage kits to possibly do the releases of I noticed 3 kits that would be nice #1-Mack DM-800 Mixer, Ertl International paystar log truck and the one you already have tooling done for is the AMT Kenworth W900 for the Movin' On truck just a matter of decals and box art as it's the same kit as the Watkins rig. Lots of fellow truck modellers also mentioned a BJ& the Bear tractor.
