The middle of the rainforest is a secretive place. In healthy forests, a dense canopy blocks most light, providing security and shade for stealthy creatures to sleep, feed, breed and hunt in. You'll be surprised by the range of characters that use the shade to their advantage.

Save Western Ghats- True Rainforest of India And I think some parts of Northeast around Mawsynram and Cherrapunji in Meghalaya are also true rainforest.
