Close quarter is only good if you are really really close to your opponent! It makes your Bullets do literally no damage if your not close to your opponent.

I have no idea if a mod like this is even possible, but I would love to see a mod that puts in an actual tournament mode. Where the 2 winning builds from the first 1v1s fight against each other.

Fascinating concept, but not sure if the code would be able to run that. The game can run multiple people as we have seen, but I don’t think it has the ability to save builds after a match. More than likely there is a complete erase you would need to bypass. Still would be an awesome idea.

the problem is close quarters in the last round, the upgrade gives you such a massive amount of damage falloff that they do nothing at any distance that isn't physically touching the other person

Yeah, Price asked "why not?" when picking that card. This is why not. He was doing practically no damage against Rik because of the damage fall-off.

combined with super ball that decreases the dmg the more it bounces, the dmg was basically going from 1,000 to 10 just like that

Close Quarters, and then Superball as well really killed him. Bullets getting weaker the further they travel, and then bouncing alot but losing even more damage the more they bounced. Not the greatest combo.

Demonic possession is a modded card that is true chaos it makes your character uncontrollably shake and glitch brings down lasers from the sky and I think can just randomly kill other players

While super ball is fun to watch, each bounce decreases the damage of the projectile so Price's only option is to get in close with Rik who can just tank and one shot him so a terrible combination.

Close Quarters has a ton of damage falloff and that's what made Rik look so tanky. It also anti-synergizes with any damage upgrade since those give a slight effect now.

Punching bullets is like if you have leech even if they block the bullet leech still effects them Piercing makes it where a small amount of the bullets basic dmg goes through

Would love to see card sets like pacifist, wildcard and survivalist be used, seeing as ya'll never use them.

Survivalist, admittedly, has it uses. Don't get hit get better for it is decent. Generally I think there are better choices, but an argument could be made. Wildcard is, as the name implies, a buff at random intervals. Unless you're going for a fully random build then there are almost certainly better choices. Pacifist gives you buffs for not fighting in a game where you fight. Really encourages that incredibly squirrley gameplay where you run and hide until you're ready to play, but without any of the interesting add-ons of say homing bullets. An argument could be made, but it shouldn't be. That would be an incredibly boring part of the video if they tried to actually get the buffs from it. Their opponent would have to go all in on a "be-entertaining-but-almost-certainly-lose" build to try to save it.

It can be good, depending on the build. It synergises well with stuff like Teleport + Radar Shot. Outside of that though, yeah it's bad.
