Another instance where Rousimar does not let up when someone taps, and hurts the guy. He has the worst sportsmanship in MMA. Any experienced grappler knows when you have a guy locked in a submission and won (checkmate), you do not need to proceed with trying to tear their ligaments. Its the first thing you learn. You will end a guys career. Its not tough, its a shitty dirty act.

If anything, the injury was the Ref's fault. He did not stop the fight decisively enough. Rousimar did what he was supposed to do, crank the submission until the ref pulls you off.

The fight looks like it was in Brazil. Many organizations don't follow the UFC's sanctioned rules so we don't know if the kicks were a foul. Pride for instance allowed kicks while down.

Crank till the other guy taps you mean, the ref pulls them of when there not defending themselves from punches on the ground or are cut badly, not for a submission you crank till the other guy taps the other guy to let him know to stop

Seriously disturbed as in psychopathological criminal behavior. Intent to maim or permanently damage is a felony crime in all 50 states. Intentionally tearing a ligament and popping tendons by continuing to inflict damage after an opponent taps or the ref commands to break grip goess well beyond the sport of MMA and into savage and perverse deviant behavior. This thug's career history of repeated suspensions, stripped titles, bans, fines, etc., clearly show a pattern of guy who is not a sportsman, but is afflicted with deeply rooted, mentally psychotic, and malicious intentions... and he's proven he's incapable of recognizing and respecting the rules of the sport. Like a like an inherently vicious dog that needs to be put down...it was more than karma that he was beat senseless in his last fight... and his opponent did so well within the rules of the sport.
