Will, you're so sweet to Dawn. I loved it when Will told Dawn we can put these horns on the Jeep. Her face was priceless..!! Hahaha...!! 😂☺😉 She said, ugh ugh... I watched Tori Spelling and her family travel from California to Georgia to visit their kids Nanny ( Patsy ). They stopped to eat at this Steakhouse too. Another great video. Kim and I passed the Big Texan on I 40 when we were coming home from the Grand Csnyon. I was glad to see inside of it since we didn't get to stop there. That steak looked incredible!! The National Route 66 Museum looked like a very nice place. The iconic Coneco gas station in Shamrock ☘ was really cool. We have really been enjoying riding along with you both down the mother road. Can't wait to see what adventure is next.

I think Shamrock, Texas was one of the last "commissioned" sections of Route 66. In 1983 I was on my way to Ft. Bliss driving on I-40 in the middle of the night. I had no idea they hadn't built the interstate around the town. Suddenly I saw "Freeway Ends" and the next thing I knew I was driving through town. As soon as I passed through, the interstate picked right back up again. It was very strange.

I enjoyed the video because it is all in my neck of the woods. We live 50 miles from Amarillo, and we lived in Elk city for a year. By the way, Amarillo is pronounced Ama rillo. You pronounced it ARmarillo, It doesn't have an R there.
