I’m as excited as you are! Never stop posting about this route. I have been waiting for roarers set in the 1980’s. I’m an 80’s teenager and the Just Trains Blackoool Branches was incredible. I’m beyond excited!!!!

100 miles of rock n' roll! Can't wait! Though, I think I'll be out of my house by then as we're moving. Might have to wait and drool over your videos until I get my Xbox back up and running around Christmas time. Truth-be-told, I don't think I can wait that long haha. Blackpool Branches was a bonified masterpiece and this one will be no exception. And finally, we have some vintage/mainline electric locomotives for the British scene! I love the vintage stuff on the German add-ons so this will be a welcomed addition for sure. I've never visited the UK but I hope to in the near future and see the lines which I grown to love over the last two decades. We've got a big British railway modelling following here in Australia and we just love anything to do the British Railways. But I would love to see the future of the TSW franchise, something down under for change. We've got some spectacular routes here from metro lines to the heaviest freight trains and beautiful preserved steam and diesel lines. One can hope I guess. I hope one day just trains can bring the class 91 in. Hell just make it a York to Newcastle route considering that York was completely left out in ECML. Adding in the valentta engine HST sounds brilliant. It’s fair for WCML to get another route so does ECML.

Or by how many hours , 90 minutes or so plus a rate of 1.34 smoothing to 85mins on averaging(though guessing the locals) and a guesstimated amount of up and down, i would count it to 20p a journey to 15p a journey on average , and on roughly 6,5p a journey on phanatics(if i were to emply bean counter thinking) And idd bet the electricity cost is likely higher than that idd bet, although this ofcourse isnt a running cost it is rather an upfront expendature to then count off(tho one wont feel like just writing off the services till the total adds up to the route pricetag as it will just be the total price divided by journey)

it might be a long shot but I would love it if JT made the class 370 apt as a add on for this route as as far as I'm aware they ran on the wcml and they were build in 1980 and were in service till 86'

Yes I'm very excited for this route and I'm glad just trains have made it because of their fantastic quality but I am also a bit fed up of northern routes. Correct me if I'm wrong but we haven't had any addition to southern UK since sehs was extended and haven't had a completely new southern route since WCL (not counting iow 22 as that route already existed) something like south London lines or just any southern route in 80s/90s/early 2000s would be a very warm welcome I hope they do it preferably JT.

@TinTin_57 yeah I don't really count wcml south as a southern route i know it technically is but im thinking more towards third rail routes like Portsmouth direct which would be fantastic in tsw. And for goblin line I forgot about that one lol but still it's not really an exciting route it's short and uses a boring train it is a good route but we need more third rail

Hopefully justtrains next uk route has the intercity 125 in its british railways condition with br blue livery and intercity livery, upgraded from the hst from either great western express or midland mainline

I think the APT is quite a good guess as currently in tsw5 there has been a theme of tilting trains. Also i believe that the seatle to carlise route had a very iregular and empty timetable in this period.

sadly its to expensive for me as much as i would love to get this and will have to wait till its on sale. i think the spurs of from the route are not hints for future routes i think its just so A.I Trains have a run of area

Thinking about future routes by Just Trains I’m pretty certain it will be one that connects with Shap - Carlisle or Preston Branches in the same time period whether that would be the West Cumbria coast line or Settle - Carlisle who knows ? I mean TSW5 now has the new route hopping feature so Just Trains doing a route in the south and not around the 1986 period wouldn’t really make sense tbh. I think you will find any new route being developed by whoever from now on will be able route hop on to another existing dlc from it in the same time periods each developer has done in the past. Of course I could very well be wrong! 😂

Same I would love to see it, my local station being Blackburn. I actually suggested this route on the forums and some people did like the concept. Have it include Northern Rail DMUS (156, 142, 150/1 & 150/2).I don’t think 158’s do run to Colne but I might be wrong. Can have Blackburn King Street Depot modelled and where you can start Services🤞🏽

Hello tintin just a quick message to you. As you know or may not no my health is deteriorating and I now have someone to keep an eye on me at my home. I wanted to let you know that I no longer have any train sim world on my ps5, tsw2,3,4 and 5 are now gone been deleted off my ps5. My ps5 just wouldn't play any of tsw games. So my ps5 as been scrapped. I am going to get a new one but not until my health improves which won't be for a while. You are a great chap tintin and very well educated on the railway. I hope you have a great Christmas and I maybe back. But I doubt it

You should be able to if you update them to the TSW5 versions. Not sure the 37 has layered services but you can free roam whatever engine you like basically
