Nice! I think this video will remain in history, You filmed rail that will close in the near future due to modernization. Glad to see the rail works advancing, could be faster, but still better nontheless. Also glad to finally see the track doubled on the Hungarian side to the Romanian border. FINALLY. Do you know how much more work has to be done for the track doubling to be complete and electrification enabled? Also any news if the electric traction started to be used from Biharkeresztes to the rest of Hungary? Cheers from Cluj! :)

@@manioan7966 The video was made from hungarian perspective, in Hungary, even the official state railways (MÁV) and everyone else refers to them with their hungarian names, and i also wanted to show the old hungarian names aswell, of course together with their official, state language names. No offence.

Congrats for the video, it's really impressive: very good quality and excellent image. Nonetheless, I am still annoyed by my fellow Romanians that feel somewhat offended by the fact that there is no pure Romanian everywhere in Romania. On the very contrary, I am delighted to see how different cultures brought the places here where they are, and it's a shame to neglect and reduce any cultural heritage, be it Romanian, Hungarian or German for what it's worth in this part of Romania. Railroads are amazing, they carry an old and full of insights story with them. A bit of old, a lot of new, it looks like the things are changing but, at the same time, they keep some things from the past. Just keep on doing this the best as you can and show us more. 🙂

Well, in 1998, there was a train on the route: Constanta - Bucharest - Timisoara - Arad - Curtici - Budapest Keleti ..1,070 km. I was doing 24 hours by train to Budapest....unfortunately the train no longer exists 🤔🤔.

I liked the filming, but I am very disappointed with the railway infrastructure in Hungary. When I saw that the locomotive was changing, I imagined that it would go directly to a speed of at least 160 km/h. When there, total disillusionment. Well, the Romanian media keep praising you for the developed infrastructure you have and when there, not a single thing. First of all, I haven't seen any more prosperous town until Bekescsaba, and it's about 60 km, and the railway from Curtici to there is more disastrous than the one in Romania. In addition, Transylvania is full of hills, valleys and mountains, which makes it very difficult to modernize the railway and build highways. In Hungary, you have no mountains, except for a few peaks in the north, on the border with Slovakia. Otherwise, everything is plain (Panonian Plain). If both the modernization of the carriageway and the construction of the highways proposed by the Romanian authorities with European funding will succeed, then excuse me, but Romania will surpass Hungary even in terms of infrastructure. Perhaps, you have the much praised infrastructure in another part of the country, but the east of Hungary did not impress me with anything, related to the infrastructure. The TGV should have been running already. Now, I realize how much paid propaganda defaming Romania exists. 😡🤔😁

@@LeON_MCMLXXVII My bad, i didn't see the entire comment, because i have read it from the notifications. The infrastructure really could be better in Hungary, but everything here in this country is done without thinking. Most of the modernized tracks really would be capable of 160km/h here, but the people responsible for it are just messing around, instead of getting the required ETCS, and without the ETCS, trains are not allowed above 120km/h. Also, even only a few locomotives and carriages would be able to actually reach 160km/h. The Budapest-Wien line is the only exception.

You wrote the intresting opinion about the problems of hungarian and romanian railways network. Yes. the line between Bucuresti and Constanta has been modernizied just like the line Budapest- Hegyeshalom. The reconstruction has been going on between Brasov and Bucuresti and towards Sigishoara and of course in the valley of Mures. The modernization mainly focused on the main line. Now otherwise the main line are general better in Hungary than Romania. Apart from the above mentioned main line, the hungarians can travel 100-120km/h to northeast Debrecen-Nyiregyháza or to south towads Pécs or to southewest towards lake Balaton. The line Püspökladány- Biharkeresztes were also modernizied just like the line Békéscsaba-Szolnok. Fortunately we can see many videos about the situaition of line of Moldva or Oltenia or in Transylvania. These are bad state of repair compare to above mentioned hungarian lines. The brunch lines are really bad in Hungary too. Who have better railway infrastructure in Central Europe than ours are Poland and Czech Repuplic and of course Austria. Our common problem without EU support we are not able to modernize our railway inrtstructure. Before the WWI both country built many railway-lines. After the WWII both country modernizied their own railway-system. The romanians built the second tracks in many lines and both country gradually electrified the main lines by own sources. The collapse of socialist regime the things turned worse. We are glad that CFR modernizied the railway-lines again
