It comes across from reading the book and listening to Steve how much he loved being in the ba-sorry, group. Had MES been just a bit fairer theres a good chance he would have stayed on. I for one disengaged with the ba-sorry, group after Craig Scanlon left and the sound seemed to get more electronic but I remember seeing that Steve had left in 98 I think and feeling that the heartbeat had gone from them. The albums and singles from Grotesque all the way to shiftwork though are part of my life. I hope Steve and Paul are doing well.

@@mrblue99999 Well there's easily enough material for a second volume of memoirs, but I imagine the aftermath of him leaving The Fall were difficult years.
