13:28 Sorry Matt, but you fixed the radio by changing the interior light, clock and radio fuse - I said before that I reckoned the clock and the radio shared a feed. All the loose interior light wire in the A pillar will do is bring the interior light on if it touches the chassis, because that's what the switch does.

Great job, Matt. That appears to have been a triple fault, with fuse, earth, and flasher all being culprits, each contributing to the issue. I don't know who made the wiring looms for this car, but if it is a Bosch system, when one thing doesn't work right all sorts of weird and whacky things happen. It truly is bizarre how thing work at all with the multiplexed wiring. The entire system works off feedback. Get that wrong and there is no end to the issue. The issue with that fuse could easily be that the end of the wire for the door switch is shorting out while driving. That is what I would concentrate on next. Good luck. The wee old thing is coming on nicely.

No, it's not 'fixed'; stuff might work, for now, but it's not 'fixed'. Ask yourself: why would changing an indicator relay fix other problems? The answer is - it doesn't. Why did the indicator relay fail? Perhaps because it had parasitic current going through it that caused it to fail, due to duff earths somewhere. I once had a Lancia Gamma with bad electrics - it took me weeks, with the wiring diagram, to sort it out (bad earths being a major cause of the problems). Being a long time subscriber I suspect you don't have the patience for that sort of enterprise. Getting an actual auto electrician to look at it may save you pain in the long run. Just a thought Matt. Mike. PS: any chance of a P6B start-up any time soon?

It's a lucas computer controlled flasher relay. It could be something as simple as a dry joint that is causing that problem. The other things were fixed by the fuse.
