Rover Rendezvous 2011.mpg

Discoveries Off Road runs Holcom Creek Trail at Rover Rendezvous '11 put on by Southern California Land Rover (SCLR). This was a great opportunity to run some a trail that had been closed for the past 3 or 4 years, and a great opportunity to test out Tactical Rovers Rock Protection on a treacherous trail.

Great job guys, love your videos! No music over the engine rumble, squeaks of the chassis etc. and grind of the metal-to-rocks; good stuff :) Question: any of the cars have Diff. Lockers? Cheers and keep up the great job :)

Great video, thanks for uploading it! I recently bought a LR4 and want to mod it similar to the LR3 in the video. Would you mind telling what you have done to it? Is it raised? How big of tires can it handle? I look forward to your response

The zombies are a major motivator for buying one and slapping some off road tires on it. you never know when those bastards will pop out... could be any time. :) I'll start looking for some deals.

@DiscoveriesOffRoad I guess I'll have to look for a used one. would be a good car to have in the event of emergency or just for recreation. I'd have to find a cheap one though, to leave room in my budget for mods.

The LR3 looks like it has 18" wheels with 31.5" tires and a rod mod (in addition to the armor). Is that correct?
