We should be looking at signing proven EFL goalscorers, someone like Colby Bishop or Devante Cole. McGuire looks ok, but I don’t think he’ll be significantly better than them and he will take time to settle into the league

He's a 23 year old striker with less than a full season of football behind him and less than 20 goals. There are better options who are younger or better than him for a lower fee.

We will never know , there is no point in getting upset about this now. He may never have adapted to the championship . If we had Lewis o Brien we may have been promoted last season but we will never know . Imagine going for a job whilst on the plane , being told turn around. I can’t blame him. We almost sold Gallagher to make way for him too, could have been much worse .
