This is so comprehensive it is insane how simple you make it look. I wish every review on KZbin went into as much consideration into practical use as this video does. I wasn't even considering getting a cart like this. I stopped to watch to see what it might have to offer. I now have such a good feel for how what this product offers. I can't gush enough about what a great job you have done here.

These are the best most in depth reviews on this website that I've ever seen for any product. The way you go about methodically testing and demonstrating any practical feature of the bag, or cart, or whatever is great. Your process had brought things to my attention that I never would have thought about until I was using it, and then it's too late to consider. Fantastic work, I hope to see you back eventually, and hope you're doing well!

I found mine works on about half the courses I play. Also get some interesting looks from some of the players, not that I mind that. If you order one make sure you buy the right accessories. The foot brush and seat that I ordered were for a different model yet they were the 'frequently bought together' items on Amazon.

Accessories for the RV1C(compact) and RV1S(swivel) should all be compatible with the RV1D(disc golf).

Great video! If you are worried about what the hangers are doing to your backpack straps, use your top handle instead. Other backpack setup vids for the RV1D seem to go that route.
@NotSoFast712 жыл бұрын
Especially with bags with the "carry handle" built into the top part of the straps like on my Dynamic Discs Paratrooper bag. Put the hanger pegs in the handle part then spread them apart so it's tight, then lock in place. Very secure this way.

Incredible job dude! Pointing out all of the details really helps. I was literally about to press “buy” to get this cart but I wanted to check to see if you had any videos on it. I’m glad I did. I just got a custom octohaul...your review caused this...😄. The octo is very comfortable. I’m glad you pointed out how much wear the cart could cause on the octohaul. That was my biggest concern considering the price I paid and it being pretty new. I also have a first generation zuca cart with a disc shelf in it. It still works like a champ for multiple round days (downside is I have to transfer disc back and forth). Thanks again for all of the knowledge! Looks like I’ll save my money and keep the zuca/octo rotation. 😎

“If that noise doesn’t bother you, then we are different types of people” such a great line. Doth, the “silent” disc golfer. Great review as always. How much “mileage” do you have on it ?

I would guess I have around 30 rounds, and a good number of those I was using a substantial mod that Brandon built for it. The mod is totally cheating and "fixes" all my main issues with the cart. It's in impressive mod that takes some serious skill to pull of. I may make a video just to show of how cool the mod is at some point. With the mod on I really do like the cart a lot. If I was not testing other bags and needing to carry them on my back to do so, I would be using the Rovic a lot.

You said that your not a fan of the rovic stool, do you use one of the tri-fold stools? I have the bushnell stool. If you use one, have you found a way to attach it or carry it on the cart somehow?

Amazing review! Watched it thoroughly as Im deciding between Zuca and this. My only suggestion is that since you review all the add ons that you might want to time stamp some of the components in the video so those are easily found. Thanks for your review :)

You covered one of the biggest concerns with this kind of cart. the pressure on the straps is unusual giving me concerns about bag life. And the hanging down nature of the bag means it puts more pressure on the sides of the bag making it harder to remove disc. I wonder if this mod you're talking about deals with these two issues specifically, or is focused on other concerns with the cart.
@DothSavek4 жыл бұрын
The mod does fix both those issues as well as fixes some of the frame bending and the balance of the cart. I realized I have all ready uploaded some pictures of Brandon's mod here: imgur.com/a/OOujeql

Is this cart still able to hold a ball golf bag? I'm looking for a cart that will carry my ridge backpack, or my ball golf bag depending on if I'm playing disc or ball golf. I'm willing to deal with the shortcomings of a cart that can do both and isn't specialized for one or the other.

Yea I dont see why you couldn't. Probably would need to use an extra strap or something. If you are looking for a double duty then its probably easier and cheaper to find a normal ball golf cart and figure out how to hang a disc bag on it.

Great review. I wouldn't want a cart like this but it's cool to see the various options. I have a friend who modded a jogging stroller he found used for cheap. It ends up being pretty close to this cart but carries a lot more. As far as next bag, Im looking forward to the rebel. Maybe the commander non cooler afterward? Itd be interesting to see how the two compare. ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

The disc golf bag company that makes a bag in the general shape and stiffness of a stick-golf bag that just plugs into any push/pull golf cart on the market will make a billion dollars.
