I really appreciate the review! I am entertaining the idea of a cart and only really knew about Zuca and Rovic. It's nice to know there are other options out there!

I have a zuca transit, whcoh has built in material to hold discs. I think the best of both worlds is a good bag- squatch or pound bag, and the Zuca ez cart. The ez cart allows you to put your own bags on it and doesn't limit you if you are at a new course and aren't sure what to expect and need to bail on the cart and go backpack.

Thanks. I have a Zuca EZ, your regular bag attaches. If you're a little older like me pulling a Zuca saves some energy but can hurt the shoulder. And yes the cup holder suck, I kick them all of the time and they get bent. Thanks for info., ordering Bag Boy

I have a DD branded Zuca LG that I like quite a bit, But I think the 3 and 4 wheelers that you push are the future. I think they are more stable when trying to hold an umbrella upright in the wind and are easier to maneuver when the grass hasn't been cut recently and is wet or as you pointed out, with lots of rocks or roots. I've modified mine a bit to suit me, but one of the things I found is that when I have the handle at it's tallest, to make more room for my putter pouch, and am pulling it, The longer handle position puts the cart at such an angle that more of the weight is on my arm. I've since moved the handle down as far as I can get it and still have room for my putter pouch and it moves the angle when pulling to a more upright position so that more of the weight is on the wheels of the cart and less weight is on my arm. One other thing about the Zuca that I'm not terribly happy about, aside from the axle nuts, which I replaced completely, is the axle itself. Each end is threaded back far enough that the portion of the axle that goes through the metal "bushing" of the wheels, is threaded. This causes more friction and wear in the bushings than is desired. I've thought about making a new axle with the threads at a more reasonable length, but haven't yet. As usual, thanks for another great video.

What's crazy to me is that so many people brainstorm was to fix and make their zuca better. The seem like issues that could just be fixed from the factory!
@DeafVikingr3 ай бұрын
I have a new Zuca cart that I got for christmas last year. Much of those issues you listed are precisely the reasons why I don't use it as much anymore. It's limited itself down to really muddy days (I'm that dedicated) where I don't want to get mud from the bag onto my back or even my car seat if I forget about the mud on the bottom. Just slap a few fenders on the cart (remember to get the appropriate size!) to save the inner bag from rub marks and/or mud. Also, fyi, it works better pulled than pushed. Don't think I've ever seen anyone push a Zuca, maybe have the Zuca roll down the hill first because it's easier to let it pull you down than keep it from pushing you over from behind.
@tossingplastic3 ай бұрын
Pushing i feelt is just easier on the shoulder and easier to maintain when they want to flip! Just a preference thing

On the bag boy if you set the brake and then unclamp the side lock you can lift up with your foot while pushing the cart forward and hit the collapse release and it folds down in like a second in one smooth motion. I've had my bag boy about 10 months and it's held up really well and I really love it! I only have a one complaint. The magnets for the closing compartment up top have fallen out and it doesn't stay shut if I'm on bumpy terrain. Easy enough to fix but kind of annoying.
@tossingplastic3 ай бұрын
I should try that haha, makes a lot more sense to use your foot
@teenor18233 ай бұрын
@@tossingplastic You can also use the same motion in reverse to open it up in one pull by making sure the side lock is open then putting your foot between the front wheels and pulling up and away. The bag boy opening and collapsing that quickly are some of my favorite features.

Man I got a Bag Boy disc golf cart about a month ago and have taken it out on like five rounds so far. I went with it over the Zuca for several reasons, but primarily because my left hand is already paralyzed from a spinal cord injury a few years ago, so pulling a zuca and having the cart constantly pulling on the shoulder of my one good arm, was not a great idea . I'm absolutely loving the bag boy though

I had a zuca cart and rarely used it. I sold it and I got the Bagboy cart. I like it so much more than my zuca. Mostly because it folds down to so much smaller and fits in my trunk much easier. I also prefer leaving the discs in my pound bag with all the useful pockets and compartments. If I don't want to take the cart I just pull the bag off and I'm ready to go. I paid 180$ for the bagboy and it was a bargain compared to the Zuca cart, saddle bags, putter pouch, etc. I love the bag under the handle on the bagboy, I use it for my disc markers so I'm not hunting for one every time I need it. It's just my opinion but the Bagboy cart is just way nicer for my needs. Only thing I miss is the seat but honestly I didn't sit on it that often. I paid extra for the cooler and I love having it on hot days.

I started with the zuca, then sold it to get a bag boy, ultimately wish i hadn't, your review for both were great, but the flaw for me was the bag boy handle. Where the handle adjusts inside is a circle with plastic teeth which for me and the Pennsylvania woods golf i play eventually grinded off so it won't hold, final straw was during a tournament, talk about a distraction. Anyway the durability of zuca wins the battle in my experience. awesome review thanks!
