Croats are friendliest nation toward Americans or definitely one of the friendliest! Despite being run (occupied) by communists,it was Americans who built nuclear power plant back in 1970's. It was built as a joint venture by Slovenia and Croatia. At that time,American engineers and their families lived in my neighbourhood in Zagreb.

@samuelandaudrey7 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! We miss family and having a base at times. Not a specific place in Canada but being on the road can really tire you out. Oh my gosh, being on the road 24/7 we kind of have a masterclass of knowledge to annoy one another. We drive each other nuts at times but we're pretty good about giving each other space when we need that time.

Thanks for a great channel guys. I enjoy watching you visiting various places and see what cities I can visit myself (I use a wheelchair). Some places are good, some don't, it's good to know. Rovinj looks like a not so good wheelchair-place, lol. Thinking of all the cobblestone and stairs. :) I have a question: Your videos are of very good quality, sharp, good colors, not shaky. What equipment do you use? GoPro with gimbal? Osmo?
@samuelandaudrey7 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! I feel the waterfront area would be an okay place but unfortunately the steep inclines of the old town wouldn't be. We're now using a Panasonic GH5 and the built in image stabilization is really good. Sometimes we have to adjust shakes a bit during editing on Premiere and Final Cut Pro. I've seen some really lovely footage from the gopro and phone + gimbal combos. We don't use one but it would be a great starter kit for making videos.

@anahata20096 жыл бұрын
Puntalina and Mali Raj are the only places worth eating in town (Owners of Puntalina opened another place, too, but the name escapes me at the moment). The rest are tourist traps with very mediocre if not downright bad food. Unless you want just pizza, then Da Sergio is also good. Up the hill out of town is Maslina, which is decent food at a good price, with a very warm staff. The only non-industrial gelato in town is at "B 052" on ulica carera, with some unique flavors. No video the purports to show Rovinj is complete without a bike trip from the center of town along the coastal path, which goes for miles on one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in Europe--with little bars to stop for food and drink along the way. You should return in warmer weather and rent bikes for that. Nice video, but would have appreciated a less misleading title---this is not really a "10 things to do" video.
