I love that you go slow and explain each step and the line on the ruler and foot so clearly. Thank you for this video.

How happy I am...Jeanne's beautiful teaching manner. I learned so much. I'm a neophyte, but my poppy flowers are beautiful, and I confidently made them. How sad I am. I looked Jeanne up, and she was in my native VA. I found her obituary. So a heartfelt thank you to her legacy of patient, inspiring teaching.

I have recently found her channel, I’m so sad to learn this. I have learned so much from her videos, I feel she must have been a school teacher.

Jeanne, thank you for the tip on using a card to properly adjust the foot height and your explanation of why we get shredded thread. You are the first of several instructors who have explained this. Thank you!

Are you using a high shank machine? I have understood that with a low shank machine you cannot put the ruler behind the foot if using 1/4" rulers.
@JeanneHarrison
@JeanneHarrison 5 жыл бұрын
I am using a high shank, however, there are 360 to your ruler foot. So if you can't stitch from behind try moving your piece so you can use the sides or the front. These rulers have the same degree of curve on both sides which is why I recommend them so highly. It makes them so much more versatile.
