ROW Delivers Jamie's New Wheelchair & Ramp

Jamie is a 17 year old boy who is unable to walk due to a degenerative disease. They discovered his disease at age 5, and as of age 12 has not been able to walk. His family is mostly gone during the day working and Jamie is left at home. His weakness doesn't allow him to do much and he often can't even get himself a drink of water. When his family is home, his father is the only one able to put him on his back to get him in and out of the house. ROW was informed of Jamie's condition and was able to get a wheelchair to take down to him. Our team was able to present it to Jamie and build a ramp from their home to make transportation even easier! It was a great 24 hours to see this all come together with the help of ROW, our boat crew, Jamie's father, and other locals.

Awesome guys!He looks like an DMD or SMA patient.Great job.If he was in a urban place , he could be a player of powerchair football.
