I sure don't understand the 'speed racking slouch' (feet forward, slumped shoulders, weight on his mid back)... and open to someone explaining it to me. I was taught, feet always under the hip, so that if the horse disappeared you would be left standing. But I sure do get the butter smooth, relaxed, bending, flexible, built-right athleticism of Gold. Lovely.

If someone has to teach you, then they dont know what the hell they are doing either. Riding is a natural motion. It cannot be taught!

Hope you dont mind a question but you say this is racking singlefoot...it looks like pacing as in standerbreds . Is it the same ?

I know I'm seeing quality when the horse isn't being shown on a road-just in grass and looks better than the rest! I can only dream!!!
