The 1/8 or 1/6 rooster rail (white) is what worked for me last Saturday .. have you tried holding them rod to the d’own motion
@fishingwithchristianoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
I think I tried a few times but now that you mentioned it, i don’t think I gave it a fair shot in the down motion. Good catch👍🎣 I will give it a try next time I’m there.

Awesome catch! Do you eat them? I’ve never tried fresh water fish before, I wonder if they taste good?
@fishingwithchristianoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Yes I do eat them. They are pretty good as long as all the bloodline(red meat) is removed.

Can you do a live bait video for sand bass
@fishingwithchristianoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
It’s a good chance while using live bait I will catch multiple species like sandbass, crappie, catfish, etc. but typically targeting sand bass it’s best to use jigs or rooster tails. Next time I go to that creek I will try and remember to get some minnows. Definitely don’t mind trying it out 👍

Good shit big dawg🥳I hit another spot just last week and literally every cast was pulling them in, water was like 4 ft deep and was like 5-6 feet wide😂it was crazy how little it was but how many fish were in there
@fishingwithchristianoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Wow that sounds crazy. I know that was some fun though.

Some bullshit for real. Ive been there over a dozen times this past month. Nadda. Never caught a damn thing from that place. Damn near hate that place.
@fishingwithchristianoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Man I hear you brother. Sometimes it be like that. I’ve fished side by side with others using the same exact bait/setup and watch them catch fish after fish while I struggle to catch one. It’s all apart of fishing though. Not sure what you tried but if it was just a rooster tail try the jigs next time 👍🎣

@@fishingwithchristianoutdoors yeah its just getting old 😂 i was in the exact spot as you and the wife and i tried everything. Rooster tail. Slip bobber with crappie jig. No bobber and 2 jigs. Baby rattle traps. White and chartreuse curly tails. Small swim baits. Lol bro ive thrown my whole bag at Rowlett creek from fire wheel down your spot and halfway to the lake. My wife asks me all the time why do you torture yourself with that place 😂
@fishingwithchristianoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
😂😂😂 man you threw the entire bag. Well I’ll zip my mouth lol. Glad to see you still in good spirits brother. You are a true fisherman 👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

@@fishingwithchristianoutdoors i went this morning just to see how it looks after the rain we had and it was not fishable. Flooded and the banks are nothing but mud. I will try later this week when it calms down

I went there today it was super murky and the current was strong so I left rowlett
@fishingwithchristianoutdoors2 жыл бұрын
Yeah someone told me the same thing. After the creek settles and get back to normal it should be some good fishing.
