I was the opposing Azorious Enchantments Matter deck. Went 4-1 (missed because I didn’t realize Screaming a Tidebinder didn’t work, I had Shelter and should have done that instead). Then went 3-2, then 1-4. It is really bad against Stormcaller and I played against 3 that last league. Wound up adding Fae Flight, which is really good in it. Also tried Fear of Isolation. It was good to return the hexproof enablers, as well as being a flyer, but sometimes it messed me over. I enjoyed it and wish it was better.

spike i don't know if you read youtube comments but you could consider a temur list using virtue of knowledge to double all your etbs and you can use the spell side to rampant growth with fabled passage/any fetch on 2. may be unnecessary or a little too over the top but could be cool. great video and glad to see you're enjoying standard!

I know it's such a cliché thing to say, but Standard is truly a brewer's paradise at the moment. So many things unenexplored and it's kinds cool that there's time till february to explore it before all the crazy shit comes back in

Hi Spike! Don't know if you're gonna go back to Standard anytime soon given the Modern unbans, but if you do, I have a tech I'd recommend trying out for Roxy Wave: Invasion of Karsus This card is effectively a 4 mana Brotherhood's End that's also a permanent card, meaning you can hit it off of Wave and Bristlebud. The card is great against the Convoke builds, and also solid into GW Rabbits, creature-heavy aggro builds, etc.

oh spike can you brew druid tribal?? ive been playing roaming throne, outcast trailblazer and mocking bird to make a huge draw engine. the new flash faerie had been my current tie in, but i havent drawn it once hahaha. with tatyova and the new rg druid i just feel it can be a meta deck

@robthehood1765 I have been tweaking it a lot since the meta is so diverse. The cards I mentioned are the shell (along with Roxanne) since her mana ability is a triggered ability each roaming throne gives you an extra mana (and card draw with trailblazer) the current list has llanowar elves 4x and plays one banner of kinship with a couple garruks uprising to finish. My honest thought is the deck has to break tribe to be better by using cactusfolk sureshot to enable haste and smugglers suprise to flash out and protect

@@atomskpk997 I was honestly wondering what other druid tribal cards existed in standard, but roaming throne is a decent sleeper dodging go for the throat, cut down, anoint and even having ward 2 which makes it worth enough to setup those combo-y turns. Plus as well with roxanne and outcaster having etbs, it helps avoid being punished for removal spells too.
