This is the ONLYYY version I’ve ever heard that does Marie’s voice justice. She KILLED the high notes with great round and open sound. Everyone else either dodges them, uses falsetto or screeches them/squeals them/strains them. This is the only time I’ve heard someone sing that high part the way it’s SUPPOSED to be sung.

What a beautiful singer, and I learn tons by listening to you, Ken Tamplin, about where the vocal sounds come from and how these sounds can be expanded, that even the vocal source itself can be "switched around" internally, as a living instrument. It is fascinating. And it is so much like tuning in to the sounds of our inner chakras, via determined concentration, a doorway to deeper meditations. The only thing that hit an off note (for me) with It Must Have Been Love is the abrupt, nonexpansive way that the word "love" is being presented throughout the song, which contains a lot of bawling about how it's OVERRRR NOWWWW, wah, wah. But the heck with love, huh? That is the word I'd want to expand and to bawl over like there's no tomorrow. Interpretation is subjective, though, eh?
