He was 30 when Love is the drug came out in 1975. He was 60 when he did this.. I think he sounds better at 60. Bryan Ferry is like a fine wine. Gets better with age!

Not many folk know the true secret of Ferry being such a fanny magnet.. To get that smouldering look Brian simply chops half a dozen strong onions and inhales the gasses just before heading out to perform . .

OK, I've seen her in several Roxy Music vids spanning about the 20 years or so... So who is the blonde percussionist? I've looked and she doesn't show up in any lineup lists.

I love Roxy Music but this version is to fast for me personally, iv e been learning this song on Bass so was surprised when Guy Pratt started it as fast as he did. Sorry Guy because i do love your playing but for me this song has got to be a bit slower and feel the drug man. LOL

Agreed, the bassline needs to be incredibly precise for the song to still groove at this tempo. There is another version (from 2001, I believe) with a different bass player, that version COOKS at this tempo. The tone of the bass is completely different, though.

the show only gives each band a certain amount of time to play. sometimes we would speed songs up to get more songs in. a still good.
