Wow. I am shocked at how much of an open book Roxy is. It was nice to hear her story. It's crazy that one lucky plane ride arguably caused a chain reaction that changed her life. Weird how life is full of those "fork in the road" types of moments, right?? I'm also saddened to hear about how much pain was in her life. I'm glad she's doing well now, because she has definitely MORE THAN earned her success. And thank you Kristian for doing these! This is probably my new favorite show of the newer Collider line-up. I'm liking these 1-on-1 conversations!

Kudos to Roxy for being so unflinchingly honest about the craziness she has been through. I expected her to break down so many times, by the end I wanted to break down for her. Roxy is my new hero.

Keep rocking Striar! Life's handed me a few sh!t sandwiches to choke down too. Sorry about Ben but I hope you're finding comfort in knowing that he can never replace you. It's not many of us out here that keep it a buck and have nothing to hide; his loss. I'm cheering for you. Keep surprising everyone, yourself included Roxy!

Wow. That was truly a rollercoaster and i learned so much and yet i feel like there could be another few hours of this and we still wouldn't properly get into everything. Not going to lie almost teared up when it got to that Happy Birthday stuff.. This whole thing gives me a whole new perspective on Roxy. P.S Now with context its even more hilarious that Kristian just got up and walked away after this lmao

Roxy has lived a life! And she's only 27! I was struck by her interesting mix of determination on the one hand, but a little bit of self doubt on the other. It also jumped out at me that several times she talked about wanting to be asked or waiting to be asked. Maybe that goes to that little bit of self doubt. I guess we all find it very validating of our worth if someone else takes the initiative to reach out to us. Rather than having to constantly advocate for ourselves. Really excellent interview!

Amazing show 😮 Thank you for sharing so much Roxy! The story about “Happy Birthday, I love you” was so touching. Hang in there Roxy! It will get better the more time passes. If you do have any time, take some time for just you, like trying something new an exciting or having a relaxing bath or having a walk. Sound lame but can really help.

This was... Incredible. I was never a Roxy hater (I knew her from Screen Junkies; here I feel like she's less "subdued/restrained", so maybe she can come off in a bad way, but I'm always been a fan) and this was such an interesting look "behind the curtains" of this person. Regarding the Andie thing.. I remember my immediate thought going to you and Roth, thinking if you were somehow involved as well.. So it was, for lack of a better word, interesting but also terrible hearing that you were, in fact, also a victim. As a mere viewer, I never could have asked directly, so I guess I hoped for the best and that those questions would come, behind the scenes.. Anyways, I love these and this one was particularly special. Can't wait for the reverse 1 on 1. Edit: I was also astounded that Roxy was only around 2 and a half years older than me; now I feel really bad..

Roxy, your story about dealing with your mother's cancer gave me insight to how my dad must've felt when my mom had breast cancer. I was only 8 and I never understood what cancer was, like you said, I thought it was just like a cold, you have it and you fight it off. It's at that matured age where the impact hits harder and the grief lasts longer. I'm sure my dad had felt it worse, alone and left with 4 kids. Your story really was heart wrenching but hey, FUCK CANCER!!! Thank you.

Wow! such an amazing story. Roxy sounds like such an amazing person having had the experiences bad and good she has had. She displays honesty, courage and insight in this interview with Kristian. Having watched a few Collider podcasts now, I feel her best quality is how genuine she is in willing to express her views on topics and calling things as she sees them. It is refreshing to watch videos where there is such earnest conversation between the hosts and guests because it is where you listen to fascinating anecdotes and be intrigued by insights and learn about popular culture and those within and around it that you may have not known previously.

Other than the loss of a parent, I have gone through every thing that Roxy has discussed in this interview, and it resonated to such an extent that it left me very close to tears... bad idea to listen to this on my to work😂😂 the relationship breakdown stuff happened for me a few months ago, and all I can say is, it gets easier. It fucking hurts for a good long time, and I still have moments most days where I miss her, but it does get easier. Unlike Roxy, I have lost 2 jobs since then, and gained another. All because I can't compartmentalise, but I get the whole putting a brave face on thing. So brave. And I mean that wholly unironically.
