It always amazes me how these casting directors can select the most absolute perfect actors and actresses so early on in the process. "Cheers" is one of those exceptional shows that have NO weak link. All of the characters just keep growing stronger as each season progresses.

Yes! Very rare to have that powerful of an ensemble. Only other shows I can think of that had that too were Frasier, Golden Girls, Barney Miller, Married with Children, Martin, Sanford and Son and Seinfeld.

Considering how mentally ill he is and will say weird lies to justify his sick fantasies, wouldn't be surprised if he was a pedo. He looks like one too. He evens looks, acts and sounds like one of those GOP Senators. And I know because I met those guys, defended my baby cousins from them and got them arrested.

I can't imagine being exposed to a Cliff Clavin on a regular basis. Good for the show but in real life he would be the stuff nightmares are made of.

This show was so well written with freedom to the actors, Fraiser a close second, Mash (for its time...) PRICELESS. Most of todays shows are connected to much with big corporations. Thank you for sharing.
