Thank you Abby, yes I enjoyed using non vintage fabrics for this project, Ive been to your part of the world before, we 'did Disney' quite a few years ago now (25 years?), just as the Animal Kingdom site opened, my daughters still remember parts of it!

Thanks Karen, yeh I wanted to be able to remove the pin cushion as when your stitching the hussif might be rolled up so a magnet was all I could think of 😉

How did you make the pocket

Very simply 2 pieces of contrasting fabric, fold over top edge on each and stitch, place pockets on top of each other onto the background fabric, stitch pocket layers around the sides and they are done, if you want to sub divide the pockets do that before stitching to background, I'm hoping that makes sense
