Adding beading into my slow stitch projects is something I want to try this year. Very good explanation of how to do it and good close-ups. It's a bit tricky to film but thanks.

Gorgeous ! Great idea to use a roller frame. You've prompted me to dig mine out of my Narnia sewing supplies cupboard. 😉

Your first and second yarns are roving style or singles yarn. That means it is a single ply, not plyed with a second strand. It is much weaker than a plyed yarn, but do not discard it, just use shorter lengths so there is less friction on the strands.
