As a frosh at Slippery Rock University in Pa., I had a chance to witness Roy's band performing this entire album. It was fall 1975 and Roy was HOT; especially with the college crowds throughouut the nation. The late Ricky Lawson was on drums and Byron Miller was on bass. John "Squirrell" Mosely was on the trumpet with the long bell; Squirrel's from Homewood, Pittsburgh. As I recall it was a fabulous show - and this album stands premier even 50 years later. And now I'm 66 - so what was good is still good. Thanks Roy Ayers. You remain one of our all-time great American Master Musicians.

This is the album that turned me on to Roy Ayers courtesy of WJZZ in Detroit!! This is probably the most underrated album in music history.. Rick Lawson and Byron Miller (drums and bass) killed it on every single track!! This in my humble opinion is Roy’s best album..

UNITED KINGDOM's own DJ DEZ PARKES guided me in this beautiful direction. He (DJ DEZ) passed away , may in rest peaceful, was an extraordinary admirer if ROY AYERS. From the wearing of the t shirts, to paying homage via interviews and playing his music CONSISTENTLY. I'm grateful that I was able to learn & discover the art, beauty & greatest of both wonders🕊🌺💕

Man this song and album were very much underrated!!! This song was and still is very funky!!! Roy Ayers was just great at his artform!! In short he is the man! I got a chance in 1978 to see him at Woosley Hall on the Yale University Campus!! What a great show!! He brought it home that night!!!

I'm just now re-discovering some of Roy Ayers stuff. I was just a kid when alot of his music was originally release throughout the 70s, and we jammed hard to alot of funk music at family house parties/cookouts. I would like to know is Debbie (can't find the credits) also singing on Roy Ayers "Don't Stop The Feeling" from 1979 as well? If she did, I mean damn! She gave Chaka Khan a run for the money on that one! Funky as hell, love it!

I had this album growing up in Saginaw MI. at age 15. I also had it on 8-track in my 2nd car (age 16) a 1972 candy red\white interior, chrome spokes with 3 '' gangster whitewalls with a white t.v antenna, red leather steering wheel cover, front white license plate with greek letters painted red( I made everything) and I rigged a light under my bumper and turned it on at night. Did I mention jensen speakers. Life is just a moment now I have a big body Black coupe Benz sitting on 22's a maroon 2014 Jaguar xf and a white 2010 Ford F150 sitting on 26'' wheels, custom mesh grill in my drive way.I worked hard and I'm going to enjoy the fruits of my labor"LIFE IS JUST A MOMENT" you better enjoy it!
