Based on the portrayal of the episode of when Rayquaza appeared, Draco Meteor'd, and then up and left, Rayqyaza kinda feels like a little like an Eternatus-like situation as even though it was in a Poke Ball, it just up and left {as Roy decided at the end of the episode he wanted to catch Rayquaza again}

Funny thing: when this episode came out & anipoke had disclosed some part of it: one of the things was Ceruledge vs Farfretch'd. My reaction was that does Friede really think a Farfetch'd could really take down Ceruledge?!?! {whether it's Kantonian or Galarian, fight, I still don't think it would've stood a chance against the Fire Swordsman pokemon!!!!!}.... And then it turns out it was for the Pokemon Seminar end-segment. And I'm going out on a limb to say that since Amethio & Ceruledge's connection might have to do with the gemstone color-reference, maybe new character Spinel might be the same (say perhaps with Armarouge)

Nice to see a fullfledge Pokemon series that actually set up the mcs have reasonable plot devices to make there story mc like. Which makese feel bad for Ash since basically the writer's gave him almost zero advantages that allows him to have heroes journey. But that makes his story overall be more unique and have him from a literal nobody to a champion

The pendant and the Pokeball activated in tandem when Liko wished they would be saved, just something of note. You've heard of the imagined Pokemon theory, right? Perhaps, when used together, they can basically manifest wishes/imagined Pokemon? It might explain why Rayquaza left when it saw Liko, it had chaded Amethio off, and granted that wish to keep her safe. It also ties to the stories Roy's grandfather told him about that ancient explorer who had went around facing Legendary Pokemon.

I hope Roy's goal of catching Rayquaza doesn;'t end on the same note as Goh's Project Mew story arc; Boy sees an awesome Pokemon, aspires to catch it causes he thinks its cool, only to fail miserably. I hope at some point in the horizon story Roy actually gets to catch it, and not end up chasing forever throughout his life, like Goh is doing with Mew.

Roy has Rayquaza's "pokeball". So it's more of Roy convincing Rayquaza to return. Goh's catching is appears more of like a mary sue situation since he basically can catch Legendary pokemon with just a pokeball even though the legendary pokemon themselves don't really see him as there master yet. Roy at least has a convincing plot device that makes him capable of catching Rayquaza.

@@Snzn_7 I'll say this, in order for Roy to pull off a feat of catching one of the Apex Legendary Pokemon, such as Rayqauza, he's gonna need a team of very powerful pokemon, possibly other legendaries to accomplish this feat. With that said, it also seems that Amethio has become Roy's rival, since he's also after Rayqauza. Sort of confirms, that Roy may be catching Armarouge to rival Amethio's Ceruledge.

What a awesome episode yesterday i got to see Roy's ancient PokeBall plus Liko's pendant resonate with each other to release a shiny✨✨Rayquaza to my surprise 😮but the coolest thing was Roy capture of fuecoco and he joined the rising volt tacklers can't wait to see episode 7 next Friday

One thing to notice is the Rayquaza green shiny silhouette shown in Liko's Pokedex looks rather similar to Mega Rayquaza.

I already commented this in other video: Ash never gets single Legendary Pokemon during 25 years of anime (If you say Ash captured Solgaleo, IT DOESN'T COUNT! We never saw Ash throwing Pokeball to Solgaleo to capture it and/or call out of pokeball. It's same as Meloetta from Black/White anime. Did we ever saw Ash capture Meloetta or call out from pokeball? No so shut up about Ash capturing Solgaleo. Solgaleo counts as Travelling companion at best) At least Ash got mythical Pokemon (Meltan which then evolved into Melmetal) Goh that appeared in Journeys gets Suicune (Just being in anime for little over year, first try using regular Pokeball...), Regieleki and Eternatus. New kid gets 3 Legendaries in one season... And now in Horizons, less than 10 episodes one of Main characters summons a SHINY LEGENDARY POKEMON from pokeball. Sure Rayquaza escapes soon after, but THAT COUNT'S AS ROY OWNING LEGENDARY POKEMON! Ash never did same on Solgaleo. Not to mention that Liko holding Pendant that summons pokemon (DLC) which most likely evolves into legendary pokemon... Seriously anime... Ash never gets single legendary pokemon but new kids gets after VERY short time?!

@@yarc9 they already showed us the legendaries they're most likely going to catch. Let's be honest they could've milked both legendary Pokemon for a while and built up theories, but they revealed the point of the pendant and the PokeBall the first episodes they were introduced. They're really rushing to finish this season
