The story (rumor) was that Perdue went to the FBI after that meeting and said Castellano tried to shake him down and his union problems will go away. The next story (rumor) was Perdue tried to get a second meeting with Castellano and the place would be wired - meeting never happened

My wife and I are friend nof the Perdue family, esp. Frank's daughter Sandy. A lot of funny stories about people asking Frank if he looked like a chicken. One esp. from Opra Winfrey when she was a news reporter in Baltimore. You should have heard Frank's response.
