How on earth can this footballer be called a footballing legend, when this man deliberately sets about breaking the leg of a fellow professional in revenge attack in a Manchester derby match? He is not a professional footballer, he is a thug and should have been banned for life to set an example. Not a very good role model for children wanting to play and know the game of football ⚽, with his thuggery on the field of play. Yes, I am for a footballer who tackles well, who wins the ball fairly and squarely. But for a professional footballer to admit he went to break his opponent's legs, is nothing more than a thug, and not a professional footballer!
