Caroline scholes Kate is her own woman the clothes she wears are now modern again like the things I had in the 70 & 80S (showing my age ) coming back in style & if it's like DIANA'S well that's because its becoming the latest fashion again. My daughter wishes I still had my clothes still as it would have saved her money. Kate's just wearing what is the norm again. If your saying she's copying princess diana then megan must be too as she ALSO has worn clothes like DIANA'S.

I'm sorry, Caroline SCHOLES I completely disagree. I think both Katherine and Meghan may wear either similar styles or colors in honor of Diana. But at the same time you can't help but wonder if in some way she is mimicking Diana. You have to admit that it is eerily quite similar start nearly the same.

Except for color choices most of these styles are really not the same at all, many are totally different. I think that Kate and Diana had similar tastes in the colors they wore and women tend to dress to please their husbands and I am sure Kate does ask William which he likes on her and which he would pick - just like we all do with our husbands. :) Its probably not unusual that William would probably lean towards dresses or outfits that look similar to something he saw his mother wear, You really cannot say Kate was wearing what Diana wore because she has a dress of the same color. Kate has always tended to dress in outfits that tend towards classic lines as did Diana and both women are of much the same stature so its not hard to imagine was they seem to dress is similar clothing but this is not a case of Kate trying to copy Diana. For the 40 dresses with the same color or same cut that you managed to find I bet both had twice as many other outfits that were not the same in any real way. If you look back to photos of Kate when she and William were dating even then she was dressing in much the same style. I think the way Kate dresses is all about Kates own choices and she is not trying to create another woman's style.

@@genkatqltr737 I think one of the saddest things that the media does is some of these big stretches to try and link wises to being Diana-like. I think we all have heard that women tend to pick men like their fathers and, but to a much lesser case, men to tend to look for women that do have some similarity to tehir mothers if it was something they greatly respected as they got older. Every time the media splashes something like this up on the screen you have to feel sorry for the sons that get reminded every time the wife turns around about it being like their mother and for the wives who must sometimes stand before a mirror and wonder what thing they wear today that will get them compared to the mother-in-law they never new. This video could have been so much better if done from the perspective that Diana would probably approve of Kate's color choices and then post all the times they did wear the same colors but not try and make it look like Kate can't dress herself without consulting the family album for what Diana wore in this circumstance. But I guess anything for a headline right?
