Royal Albatross ~ TF Hovers! WYL Flies In To Feed TFT Prompting TF To Return In Cam View ♥ 9.7.24

After being out of cam view for a couple of hours, TF is seen walking back up the hill when WYL flies in to feed TFT ♥ Nice that TFT had a feeding today! Food will always bring HRR (His Royal Roundness) back to his nest! He watches as his neighbor eats lunch and then does some preening as TF settles back down in his nesting spot.
Rain comes in for awhile - and when it is over, TF is seen going up into another hover - this one staying on Top Flat! Good job TF! Then it is time to do more wing exercises! While I was writing up this description for the video - TF had a parent come in late in the evening to feed him at 19:51pm ♥ I am glad that both boys had a feeding today! Thank you for watching!

TF is busy practicing his hovering and wing exercises preparing for his flight! He does appear on cam only when WYL arrives😂as we do know our dude is always tempted by food!!😂 He is doing an excellent job and we wish to see more of his impressive hovering🎉 Time is precious hopefully we can watch more of these two lovely kiddos before their departure🎉 Thank you Lady Hawk🤗😇

His royal roundness would immediately return to his nest for a chance to be fed even when it’s just his neighbors mom returning 😆. I am happy TF and TFT got feedings, and I’m happy too for WYL and LGL or LGK because they get to see their chicks (who will be gone one of these times when they return) also that thumbnail is PERFECT!! I love it! 😊 captures HRRs awesome hover he did! That one had great control, love seeing his paddle feet landing gear 😂

Wonderful hovers, TF! He's almost ready - something about the rain and the wind really calls them to fledge and of course gives them lift with their magnificent wings. I wonder if he's found a better runway below view. Maybe he went down to visit his visitor from yesterday's post. I hope we get to see his fledge from this nest! Thank you, Lady Hawk! 🧡

No, the parent birds don't stay nearby; they're out foraging for food as usual. And the young head out to sea on their own after fledging. It's always a bit sad to see the adults arrive at the nest expecting to feed, only to find that their chick has gone. 💕
