There is no excuse for having a broken air conditioner, electrical problems, and service staff shortages at a hotel that charges $1,200 per night. That price demands excellence (and an apology for the flaws you found) and clearly neither were delivered.

Seems to be another hotel out to extract as much revenue as possible from its guests whilst cutting corners, rather than organically growing a reputation of service excellence and luxury we are more accustomed to with 5 star international brands which in turn generates high revenues.

Agree with you on that point. The service can really be improved. I find the fees for pool use almost brazen.

I don't think it is worth the money, you can find better places with much cheaper prices in the palm.

Depends on the period. Around $1200 per night in high season. But it can also be more expensive or cheaper. In the off-season, rooms start at $600.

Agree with you: 1. Management is poor. 2. The music in public areas to high. 3. Sanitary ware is rubbish.
