I love contemporary ballet and dance, but would have loved to see Mayerling as one of the major productions this year.

They only did Mayerling last year, so it's a little soon to bring it back

Glad I'm not the only one who feels underwhelmed with this ballet season. Where is giselle, don quixote, la baydere, mayerling or coppèlia. Would love to something like the pharoah daughter ballet as well... Disappointing tbh. And no nutcracker for Christmas... 😑 oh well at least I will save money...

We just had Don Q this season, so they wouldn't bring it back, same with Mayerling which was only the year before. But yeah. it's so underwhelming and a big ballet like Giselle or Beauty is really a big gaping hole in the season, especially as there's also no Nutcracker either. Those big ballets are nowhere to be seen

I have to concur with the disappointing Ballet Season. Your curation choices are lustre -less. Bring back Coppelia, bring back The Firebird, Contemporary leaves me cold, and agree with other comments, that at least you have saved me money as I will not be purchasing any tickets

All my life I’ve wanted to see a ballet on the London stage. Back when I started dreaming it was Sadler Wells. Lots of books for little girls to dream about. I’ll have to settle for videos like this. I’ll be truthful, I just can’t get involved in contemporary dance. I’ve tried but it’s my fault, probably my age. Thank you once again 🩰🩰🩰🩰👵🇦🇺
