You'll find they're using pretty much the same mix that they send out to the audience (with the addition of audience facing mics) and because bass carries further, the FOH mixing engineer won't mix as much bass into the music because it's coming through the main speakers at a decent volume.

As ashamed as I am to admit it, especially since they'd been around for years, even before their first album was released in 2014, I had absolutely no idea who these guys/this band were, until early 2021, when I completely, and by total accident, saw the video for Typhoons. I immediately dug it (the video, and especially, the song!), and loved it, and quickly started checking out more of their stuff. As a total shock and surprise to me, everything I checked out, I also loved and was just so shocked at/with just how much I actually dug their tunes, but even more so, that I had never heard of them, especially after all that time. Also shocked because there are very few artists/bands, even ones I absolutely love, that I actually dig/love every single one of their songs, but with Royal Blood, it's very hard not to. Add the fact that it's only a 2 member band, and all their songs across all 3 albums (I know they have just released their 4th album, Back To The Water Below, but I haven't received it in the mail yet) are so good, and sound so different, that just goes to show how absolutely awesome and talented they are. I very quickly, back in 2021, ordered their first 3 albums (yes, I still buy physical CDs/media! 🙂) and cannot believe how much I have listened to them, and especially that I do not dislike 1 song off any of those albums. 2 days ago, I ordered their 4th album, Back To The Water Below, online and I am patiently waiting for its arrival in the mail. However, I'm fully confident, it too, will be another perfect album as well, especially since everything that I've heard from it so far, I have also loved, so I'm very confident that it'll be another perfect album. So thankful, and happy, that I accidentally came across the video for Typhoons, way back in early 2021, because otherwise, I still would not know who these guys/this band are/were, and that would be a d**n shame, too.
