They are unreal live, and incredibly loud. From a guitarist perpsective, its an immense wall of sound. Best fucking band to come out of the UK from 2010 onwards. They are so unique and they have such a completely different tone and sound to any band Ive ever heard. Its such a dark, heavy, high octane sound. As a mash up, it has the psychdelic qualities of QOTSA, heavy riffs of Muse/RATM, coupled with the sqealing sounds of the White Stripes. Mike clearly takes a lot of inspiration from 70's/80s heavy metal sounds as well.
