When Mike said it used to be very black and white, it hit me that the color scheme of the last two albums were black and white and now color has been introduced for this era.

I mean even in the sound it was black and white, which meant it hit hard and sounded great, by typhoons sprinkles in some totally different sounds which really innovates on their pervious sound.

For some people drink is their Achilles heel and for others it may be food or another substance. It doesn't matter if it's a plant or a synthetic derivative. It's great he's gotten it out of the way. There is a lot to regret the longer you allow it in your life. I view addiction like a manifestation of a "death drive' in humans; a perverse self destructive side. E.g. driving dangerously fast and manically for "fun" and thinking you'll be invincible. We can all be self destructive, remember the other people that have to live with us and stand by us, eventually you lose friends, people pass away. It gets dark.

Amazing artists. Im sold, after listening for 5-6 years I finally saw them live and they deliver! My favorite live show by far. No nonsense, pure muiscal reverie!! I'll fly out to see them next tour if I have to. Hard to find real artists these days. & as lovely as Mike is, with his phenomenal lyrics and velvet singing voice, I figured out looking back at the 2 min I recorded over 2 hrs that I'm all about Ben haha 12:18 - 12:38 both are such kindred spirits. Lucky to listen!

What Mike said about getting sober and having of doing things you’ve always done hit fucking home for me. Same fears I had when I got sober a couple years ago. Playing shows, sex, just talking to people sober at first is terrifying. Props to him on sobriety and being able and willing to talk about it.

I quit a few months ago. I find I have more creativity now then when I would put off my passions and hobbies for the sake of just drinking. I used to think my drunkenness was inspiring but it was the other way around, it ruined my creativity.
