I just want to say that this is the best ending song the band has ever done. The collimation of the piano touches, the drums, the chorus and the breakdown at the end really makes this the beginning of the new era for the band while feeling like the end. Fucking bravo. One of my favorite songs of the year.

This is the best song on the record. Dont get me wrong, they are all amazing, but this one idk..speaks to my soul. Cheasy I know. As someone with lifelong depression but is in a good place now, this song makes me think, "What if the darkness came back? What if it took me for good this time?" If there was one thing I wish Royal Blood would be open to doing with their album closers, it's let the fucking songs fade out. It's probably not their thing but both Typhoons and now Back to The Waters Below had album closers that (IMO) probably would've been better served fading out than just stopping. Otherwise, it's one of their best and most emotional songs. A lot of the fans from their first two albums might not like it but it fits. It adds emotion and contrast to the straightforward rock of the other songs. It's not everyone's cup of tea but I'm all for it.
