This time, I am actually looking in to it. I still get where you are coming from though. I watch Disney World Videos all the time when I am having a rough day. Sometimes a virtual vacation for a few minutes can be very refreshing. I heard once that your brain does not know the difference between a real memory, and a virtual one. That said, Norwiegan is having a special with $50 deposits and free or reduced air. Book it far out and make payments. Make it happen girlfriend! :-)

I’m literally on this cruise right now. I’m sitting on my balcony, listening to the waves crash against the ship under the moon light. While this review is not totally accurate with everything she covers, it’s decent. The shows are amazing and I’m talking NY Broadway type amazing. The Bionic Bar is NOT for kids to play with. The kids have things dedicated for kids only. Let the adults have their spaces too without having to deal with your kids. Always pre-pay your gratuities. Do the specialty dining package if you can, totally worth it. Skip The Key, totally not worth it. That’s my 2 cents.

I have nothing but praise for Royal Caribbean. Recently my adopted daughter who is a new employee suffered the tragic loss of her young son in her home country. Royal Caribbean paid her a full month's wages and flew her half-way around the world and then back after over a month off to take care of the arrangements and to grieve. By all accounts, Royal Caribbean is a class act. They are reasonable and professional which is why they are the industry standard in how a cruise line is to operate.

Bringing your kids into the no kids area for breakfast is :/ Its SUPER appealing to people without kids/ not big on kids to get away... There are a lot of options that are kids friendly. RC should consider changing that. I'm a party pooper I know... Just my preference.

The sign says 16+. Don't be an American and ignore the rules because you didn't read the rules and I'M American! This is why I like sailing internationally. Cruisers there are more likely to have limited Americans who are above signs. Her kids are NOT 16+, WHY are they in the solarium?!?😒

We are going on this ship next summer and I'm nervous about the num6of people. Did you feel like the ship was large enough to accommodate the number of passengers, or did you feel like you were constantly bumping into people?

We thought the ship was huge! We had 5500 people on the ship. And we never saw the same people twice! Definitely didn't feel ike it was crowded.

I loved EVERYTHING about your video! It was very informative. And if I had to rate it, I would give you 5 stars. And I plan to follow your blog. I just had one problem. And most ppl won't understand this. I work with kids all year long (5th-8th grade math). And where it says 16 and up! It should be respected. Some ppl look for those adult free areas on vacation because there are so many other areas that are open for everyone. And there is a very limited access for adult only places. I know most won't agree but there are a lot of us out here who just want that small bit of peace. Keep up the great work!

The Solarium is for Adults only. If you passed a sign that said 16 and older only than you were wrong. So, therefore, Solarium Bistro is ADULT ONLY ALSO.

Once you go on Royal Caribbean their Oasis Class Ships, Oasis, Allure,Harmony, and Symphony you won’t want to do Carnival. Royal Caribbean is cleaner, the food is better and also better entertainment, and the staff is much friendlier. RC mid-size ships, Freedom of the seas, Independence of the seas, Mariner of the seas, and Navigator of the seas are really nice ships too.

Already went on this and didn’t even knew to prebook anything. Just make sure to get to the radio place to reserve shows and my time dining the day of as well to reserve the time you want to go to dinner nightly. The rest of the sports and activities such as the basketball court and the slides do not need reservations.

Thanks for the great tips. Our first cruise with Royal is in December. Can’t wait to try this line. Have always done Carnival before now. Our cruise goes to St Kitts, St Thomas, and their island. Do you know where I can see a copy of the cruise compass for my cruise before we get on to help plan dining times and show times so I am not overlapping things I want to do?

When you are online and able to book things... it will give you a digital calendar so your shows and dining don't overlap... but the other activities aren't on there. You'll have to wait until you are on the ship to see what else they have (basically anything that does n't need a reserved time)
