Is Starbucks included with the refreshment package? I always thought it wasn't but I see you showed Starbucks cups when talking about the refreshment package.

The Starbucks kiosk is not included but Cafe Promenade, Cafe 270, the Windjammer, etc serve Starbucks branded coffee in Starbucks branded cups on most of the ships. So essentially you can get Starbucks coffee from one of the Royal Caribbean Venues but not from the actual Starbucks on the ship. This makes having Starbucks kind of confusing on the ships.

Are Beer pitchers included in the Deluxe drink package?

We have never personally tried but according to Royal Caribbean’s website the package covers single serving drinks so I would say it most likely will not. I will also say that pitchers are not common and may not even be offered if the ship you are sailing on does not have a Playmaker’s. However, if you are a Crown & Anchor member and pitchers are available they should qualify for the beer and wine discount. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!

Yes. You’ll pay the prix fixe or a la carte prices Nicole and I like to eat at Izumi and we usually do it without having a dining package.

Carry on only. Do not check your wine or other beverages.

Yes, each guest of drinking age can bring one bottle of wine in their carry-on luggage. You just cannot bring it in the luggage you give to the porters to take up to your cabin, you must carry it with you until the staterooms are ready.

It’s an extra that you don’t have to spend unless you want to. You’ll still have free options like the windjammer and the main dining room. Like most companies nowadays, Royal will always try to find ways to monetize extras especially since they have billions of dollars in debt from the shutdown.

@letsgetwanderlost I guess I'm spoiled after going on a Virgin Voyage and having all fine dinning included. Heck even Carnival includes more dinning options. I'm a foodie and being confined to the main dinning room or a buffet for dinner after spending all that money doesn't seem right

@rosettyromero219 there are other options too depending on what ship you’re on. El loco fresh, solarium bistro, cafe promenade, Johnny rockets for breakfast, Central Park cafe, fish and ships, etc. Royal has a selection of specialty dining options and complementary options just like Carnival does, just have to check and see what is on the ship you’re going on.

Yes, if you get the ultimate dining package, As long as they have space you can go to dinner each night and lunch on sea days. Send us a filet and a ribeye, please. lol.

I hate being nickel and dimed on a cruise especially for mediocre food as many reviews suggest. I usually cruise on Celebrity. Their cost for specialty dining is far more reasonable and the food is excellent. Wish I had never booked Royal.

We didn’t have any issues with the food in the speciality dining restaurants when we paid for the UDP, actually really enjoyed our food at Chops, Izumi, 150 Central Park and others. The MDR can be hit or miss. We felt the complementary food on Celebrity was a step above what is complementary on Royal. We Plan to try some of speciality dining on our next celebrity cruise which should be next June.

I swear a certain "KZbinR" told me personally in the comment section the $20 credit was each restaurant per night. So $20 at some italian restaurant then you move over to lets say the sports bar restaurant and use $20 there. I told them I highly doubt that but they told me 100% they're sure its $20 credit per restaurant per day. Then i showed them someone elses person where it said $20 per night and they still claim its $20 per restaurants per night.

It’s per day, per venue, per person. So if you went to playmakers and Giovanni’s wine bar you’d $20 for each venue. This is only for the al la carte restaurants. All the regular specialty dining restaurants there isn’t a dollar amount limit.

Okay, i don't drink alcohol at all so that refreshment package looks amazing!! I love smoothies, frozen drinks, and duh milkshakes. But does everyone in my room need it? It would only be my 3 year, maybe 4 year by the time if the cruise, old daughter and myself. So i was just wondering if you knew?😊❤

@dizzyraez0716 that price is for the card. Once you use all the punches you would have to buy another card. Add 18% gratuity to the price listed. If you’re getting the refreshment package you won’t need the card though.

Nicole loves the refreshment package. She gets coffees, smoothies, Red Bulls, and other things. We definitely get our monies worth.

With the refreshment package you don’t need everyone in your cabin to purchase it. Only whoever is going to use it. Royal Caribbean allows you to just purchase non-alcoholic drink packages this way.

You can do cruises without buying extras. Book with gratuities included, eat in the buffet or MDR, and drink the complementary options. You can also cruise with some of the smaller luxury companies that include everything as well. If you like cruising there are ways to not feel nickel and dimed. Nicole and I have been on a couple cruises where we didn’t buy anything but a soda package.
