No poolside movie last time we cruised Harmony. The Aqua Show is the best of all the Oasis-class ships. The spinning guy that cold opened the show is awesome. Good ice show too, 1887. Enjoy!!

Going on first Royal Carribbean cruise on the Oasis in February. What about the port in Labadee Haiti? Is it safe to get off?

Ill be there Jan 23rd on Oasis. It should be safe. The issues going on are about 6 hours away near the southern coast. Labadee is the north coast and has its own security team. Im booked to go on the 1/2 mile long Zipline,....looking fwd to that. Have a blast on your cruise.

Going on Oasis in January, but this will likely be our 1 and ONLY RCL cruise. The cost for Royal is Royal alright, especially for the drink package (we skipped it), $984.00 for wife and I ?????? NOPE, Hard Pass. We kept hoping there would be a sale around Black Friday as everyone says there would be,....never happened, at least not for us. All the other cruises we go on,...almost everything is included and is cheaper than RCL's base prices,....I know they need to pay for all the $ Billion ships they are building,...but its getting ridicules.

Matt, not sure you’ll see this since chat is over, we watch later in the evening because of our work schedule. We are booked on Jewel OTS February 1-10. We were disappointed in hearing your opinion of Jewels, it’s not a good ship. We know it’s older but because of the recent updates thought it would be good for us. We live in Houston area, did Harmony earlier in year, disappointed in Harmony because of Solarium, lack of pool. We wanted a cruise longer than 6 days, because we’ll finally reach Diamond. So Mariner was not an option. Also, do you think Celebrity will ever come to Galveston?

We’re doing Jewel OTS Oct31-Nov8. We love older ships. We just did Grandeur, the OLDEST RCL ship and we really enjoyed it, the chillest cruise we’ve ever been on. We did Allure back in May and while I enjoyed it, the vibe is just so much busier. We liked Harmony back in 2022.
