Good Sunday Rob, I missed this movie when you first published it, but I had the time to watch it today and I am happy that I did it. The Royal Crescent is quite a building and in the typical reserved English way it is screaming "style and history". If you watch it from the front mind you - I was surprised to see the other side of the building, but I guess that is natural development for such a building though the centuries. As for Ha-Ha I have never heard about the term before; but then I do not have a pocket deep enough to buy a place where one is installed:) Best regards, Ant

Hi Ant, Thanks very much for your lovely comment, greatly appreciated. It is a very impressive building. If you ever come to England, Bath is a great place to visit. I can't afford a place with a Ha-ha-ha either :) best wishes, Rob

Nice walking tour! 👍 I really enjoy watching these kinds of videos because it allows me the chance to explore other places and gets my heart pumping to go out and continue to do more walks and videos myself. Thanks for sharing!

Now that's an interesting site for sure. I think I could happily live there, but could be pricey I suppose. Sure love all the architectural history! Bruce and Otis

Hi Bruce and Otis, Yes it's a lovely place but a bit pricey! No Edith with us there as some of the places that we visited didn't allow dogs :( Tx for watching the vid and taking the time to comment, much appreciated :) All the best, Rob

Classical shot and they do look fantastic, I wonder if that is reflected in the price of them. I have been through Bath a couple of times but never stopped, as we were always on the way to somewhere else. One day we will stop there, cheers Alan

Hi Alan, yes it's often the case that we drive through places and don't stop. There's always something to see, wherever you go. One of those houses sold for almost £6million in 2021 so you'd need deep pockets :) Tx for watching and all the best, Rob

wow nice! i cant believe they built it 1767! also all the little sparrows have flown off! i couldnt be happier!(my house is not a great place for them to live as a bengal cat lives nearby). lots of support from India!

Hi Yachana, Yes, it's 250 years old! A bengal cat is definitely not the bext neighbour for a sparrow, good thing that they have flown away. Tx for watching much appreciated. Have a great weekend and best wishes, Rob

so enjoyable! Thanks for the peek inside the beautiful hotel. I was just reading about ha-ha walls yesterday. I was wondering how the large estates of old kept all that grass cut! what a clever solution.
@TheCountryTraveller
@TheCountryTraveller 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks both, I'm pleased you enjoyed it. The Ha-ha walls were a very clever design invention to allow the 'gentry' to have a sweeping view of their estates without a wall or fence getting in the way. Not sure if Rod Stewart has one on his estate, I'll ask him next time I see him ... :) Tx for watching and all the best, Rob
