The same for me ! My father was a Scot who came to Australia in the 40's. I am a shocker at the sound of the bagpipes,😭 my eyes well up and I am cast back to ancient battlefields. I can't explain it

My father was born in Scotland and migrated to Australia as a two year old in 1921, he loved the tattoo and it was his dream to attend the tattoo in Edinburgh but could not afford to do so. I also loved the tattoo and actually attended twice in Edinburgh several years apart. The bagpipes were stirring, my heart was beating fast, but both times it was bloody raining.

As an ex Australian military man, watching and listening to the pipes and drums can bring a tear to my eye. However as an ex Australian military man I cannot help but see all the COW KICKING, ancle Hight gentleman, 30 centimeters in front, I bet the leader of the pipes and drums could rase his foot that high, if fact I bet the band major could raise his foot ass high and plant it firmly.
