Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Asbo 50 first start attempt after rebuild & tuning at Performance Classics.

No editing, just three short videos joined together in the order they were filmed, with the first part being my first attempt at starting the engine of Asbo number 50, following a full strip and rebuild, with some pretty extensive tuning work included in this landmark machine, here at Performance Classics.

On some bikes, the airflow into the tank is the restrictive factor. Even worse with a badly fettled tap.

I've fitted a pingel tap to my big bullet because I was feeling spendy that day but I've found the O.M.G. branded fuel taps to be decent quality and with a reasonable flow. Come with 1/4 BSP and options of straight left and right exit. Cheaper than a tank of fuel.

Many of the cast aluminium types with 'On' and 'Reserve', such as the one on this machine, seem to be the main culprits.

What is an asbo?

ASBO are the first letters of Anti social behaviour order . They are given to people by British courts when people can't behave themselves . Usually teen-agers . Hope this helps . Relating it to the bike is probably because it's noisey and anti social .
