Morning Dave. I never thought I would sell my Interceptor 650, until I bought the Classic 350 as a stablemate. It wasn’t long until I realised I rode the 350 more, so sold the Interceptor……bonkers how the 350 gets under your skin like that. I don’t know about green laning on Norman, but those tyres are well suited to the state of all our roads at the moment. My pet hate, and constant whinge on my videos, is the state the roads are in nowadays.

My first Royal Enfield, a 2002 500 Bullet ES that I bought in 2011 got right under my skin very quickly and so started my love affair with them. I still have that bike, it has been a faithful machine and has done everything asked of it very well through all weather's all year round. I now also own a Desert Sand Signals 350 which doesn't disappoint at all and has also gotten under my skin too. It's all about the journey, not the destination.

Got my license 2 years ago and eventually bought a 2018 T100 but man I tried out the classic 350 and a part of me really wanted that bike. If you don’t use the highway much then it’s a perfectly fine bike for daily use and Sunday jaunts

We are a new momentum in the bike world …. Older fellas and ladies selling the big cc stuff and finding the joy in smaller cc bikes we can spanner ourselves and accessorise cheaply. I PX’d my lovely St1300 for my Himalayan a couple of years ago…. The dealer was at pains more than once to emphasise the performance difference …. Loved my two pans took me and the wife all over Europe but he Himmy has given me as much joy on the roads less travelled. Ride safe.

This kind of motorcycle was off roading long before adventure bikes were even thought of. I agree with you about the look of the pillion seat and have left my pillion seat on too. I have also removed the rear grab rail and fitted a rear rack from Hitchcocks for those days when I need to carry some kit but don't need a full pannier set. These bikes are such a joy to ride anywhere at any time of year. Have fun! 😊

Nice vid mate. Snap . Went from a Kawasaki Vulcan VN900 custom cruiser 2 years ago to a 350 Enfield classic . Best move I've made since the 80s. Love B road laid back touring on these little soul bikes. I'm retired so no rush and pottering at 50 - 60 suits me. fine. Bought same frames but with canvas panniers that I treated with Belstaff jacket wax to add better water proofing. DNA air filter done , Punjab straight exhaust and solo rear rack for luggage roll camping kit Just got the Xlite ecu to go.

My Triumph TR25 with knobby tires works great off road. 100 lbs lighter so less weight is a good thing.l have had her for 20+years and paid $500 for her stock, matching #, low mileage. BSA C-15 250 are great little bikes. Cheap and cheerful as you Brits say. I haul her out to the sand trails on my bike trailer hauled by my URAL side car outfit. I get plenty of looks going down the road. I put crashbars on all of my street bikes. Worthwhile protection for the bike no question. Say hi to Eddie for me. Enjoy your new bike and ride safe.

Great additions for your new bike, the tyres are awesome :) Thanks for your info on the metal panniers, I have ordered a pair, but after watching your video realised the canvas RE bags don't fit them due to the mounting bracket not being in the same place as the original pannier (a bit of fettling required to get the bags to fit) I don't understand why RE have stopped making them. Bit of info for your subscribers....Contacted Hitchcocks who are getting original spec RE panniers rails made for themselves but are not expecting them for 3 months, so the canvas bags will fit. Looking forward to an update on the touring seat to see what you think of it. Always great content...safe riding

Looks well set up for a little tour & bimble . I reckon the replacement black seat ,looks a lot better ,than the hipster brown original effort . I have seen them rear pannier shelves fitted with foot boards ,for Indian women in Sari’s to sit side saddle on Bullets . The fitting of crash bars is a good idea , but not too sure about the quality of those weedy long Givi mounting bolts having the tensile strength of the original factory fitted engine mounting bolts. The big gate bars on your old classic , looked a lot more substantial & up to the job , looked as if you could have rode through a dry stone wall & out the other side & kept on going .👍

All loox good Dave. Two videos I'd recommend you to watch are a recent one by Coastrider Scotland. Bruce had trouble getting the engine case back on due to aligning a spline. Thank you for posting your opinions on the upgrades, your Enfield looks superb. I have been thinking of how to achieve a bit more top end power on the HNTR. I don't think the air filter is the issue but that of the lack of additional fuel entering the cylinder. I already get the loud 'baaah' but no significant increase in power, interestingly the loss in fuel economy is so minimal if at all notable. This must be because it isn't using any extra fuel. A dealership informed me the fuel ECU upgrade wasn't worth bothering with so more power requires just buying a bigger bike.

Good to see you return to the Classic 350 fold - the correct colour too - just like mine! If you're interested ive done the high performance cam, decat pipe, Fuelx lite and Hiscocks ( not DNA) inlet baffle. Good improvement overall but quite a lot of work to do the cam - might be worth trying the other improvements first. There have been some measured tests on KZbin which cast doubt on any gains from the DNA baffle. Thanks for great videos.

Hi Mate, enjoyed that. Good to hear you can get stuff from India reliably with no additional import duties. You might want to check the manual, if you think it's run on after 300 miles I'm afraid your in for a shock. At 300 it goes from very slow to just slow. But it's still good fun. I'm loving mine. (I'm in the same boat.) I'm holding out on the touring seats because to be honest although I do agree they look a bit better I think the stock seat is bloody comfortable, so why change something that isn't broken? Anyway, let's hope for some sunshine soon. Ride safe bud👍

The bike runs much better , so much better up hill (less down shifting ) much quicker if needed for overtaking ( safer ) , sounds better , top speed plus minus 130 km and use a little bit more fuel but that also depends how you ride it , . 😁 . these changes are totally worth it ,. i love my Hunter 350 this bike is fun fun fun . and i love my Interceptor 650 too this bike is fun fun and faster ,lol ...
