For me, the black guards with the grey tank makes it look even more like a period bike from the 50's/60's. I like it! 👍
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
i think your spot on there. it may look even older than what a stock halcyon grey looks. just by changing the tank and guards too. i actually tried to sell that tank a few months back but no interest best of all it still has low klm clocked so plenty of reliablity there too.

That's the beauty of the RE 350, infinitely customisable. Keep em coming Warro, thanks for another great video 👍👍

Looking good Warro. That tank suits the new mudguards and tires, great to see how many variations these classics lend themselves to. Everybody makes them their own which is a huge part of the charm.

thanks and appreciate your comment too. all the best!

That is bad-ass, Warro! Frankin-Grey RE colour-way, which is blue, of course. I wish I had another Classic 350 just to experiment with in this manner. Thanks for the video!

my next clip out will be to show red/chrome tank and blue tank on the one clip. much easier to get an idea but just the red/chrome tank on the bike looks good too. all the best!

so they say. great to hear you like the colour scheme. all the best!

I think that is a very good look. The Halcyon Grey tank shows well with the black fenders, a unique looking paint scheme that is very cool!
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
thanks. great to hear you like the look of the new classic...lol i think its ok myself but shortly i will put up a combined clip showing both tanks on the bike
@GlynOC2 ай бұрын
Thanks VERY much for doing that, I've got a Halcyon Grey tank laying about too and now I can see what that might be like, even if I don't do it. It's got more of an 'honest' 50's look instead of the 'quaint' 50's look of the full grey bike. Both are beautiful of course, cheers, Glyn

No problem 👍 i think you covered that well

Looks awesome. You've essentially got 2 bikes for 1 now. I like the rugged new looks.

I think so too!

Warro, lm partial ti red chrome. Red is my favorite color and in my mind a motorbike should always be adorned with chrome accents. It always good to try other options. You never know. As you pointed out, great looking bike either way. Cheers

next clip out will show how it looks with red/chrome tank only

The 350 Classic looks good in any colour. My favourite colour is the military style green like the bike you had.
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
must admit it was a nice bike. i should have hit it with off road style tyres when i had the chance to
@harleyfatboy2 ай бұрын
I must admit, the grey tank with the black mudguards suits the bike very well. Chrome tank goes better with the chrome guards in my opinion. Thanks for another couple of interesting videos.
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
great to hear. later i plan to show the bike with two different tanks out from under the verandah. for a much better look maybe out along the road and a better idea how the colours actually work

Looks great like that Warro and definitely right with the black mudguards and `grey` (blue for me) tank. If you have the red/chrome tank, it will need the red/chrome mudguards.
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
yeah i like the halcyon blue look of the bike so happy there

I quite like how this looks!

Mate, when you mentioned in your previous video what you were going to do, I thought you have gone mad. But you certainly have proved me wrong... The Grey tank with the black mud guards and the off road tyres, looks awsome. What would really set this bike off would be a a high exhaust like the old motorcross bikes.
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
yeah i think all is going down good on this bike. pretty happy with todays results. all the best!

You’ve built a Classic Scram 🙂 Looks good and it suits the roads in your area 👍🏻

Thanks 👍 it sort of looks a bit more rugged and i had it on the bridle track two up about 3 days back. ran well and very sure footed too.

Looks good, prefer it with the black mudguards. 😊

lucky i scored them i'd been watching them for 2 or 3 weeks then some-one put the rear in their ebasy basket so i thought better buy both while i have the chance. all the best!

i might just have to add the spare fuel pump and do a quick fit and take it out for a run...lol all the best!

Looks good with the black mudguards. It's fashionable now for everything to be that flat putty grey colour. I see it everywhere. Even that would look ok with some gold pinstripes. Have you seen the new Meteor Aurora in mint and cream, looks like an old Indian.
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
ive never had any real interest in the meteor as i feel it would be a bit hard on my back but i did see the new colours and they are really nice. with the aurora scheme honda would have been easily taught a good lesson in eye candy painting when comparing to their pathetic attempt on the new GB350

With the black guards and tyres that looks great , the red chrome looks like a road bike , that looks more like a off road bike , if that makes sense
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
good call on your thoughts there. i think spot on
@johnimmins73022 ай бұрын
I have always been confused with the colour description Halcyon grey, this colour always looks like sky blue to me on cameras. This bike I like in the halcyon green best. 😊👍🏍
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
alost bought the green myself. nice colour

Looking good to me. I want to see the bike with the red tank just sitting on it. I have a black bike and I am thinking about ordering a new tank for mine just to dr up the looks.
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
i will sit the red tank on for you to take a look in next clip
@johnschroeder20462 ай бұрын
The Grey colour and black blend well , with tank having a black swirl on it, I remember the old Beeza's we had with red pin strip, and the emblem, the black bikes with the patina and wear and tare always looked the beez kneez. How do you reckon you'll go, with the clearance, particularly on the front guard and those knobbly tyres, chocking up with mud, Mate;?
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
so far so good with the choice. no idea how it will go when i finally hit mud but ive been on some rough dirt roads lately and bike is extremely stable. happy there thats for sure.
@stevesanelli902 ай бұрын
Hey Warro, the Halcyon Grey looks fantastic as it does! Did you get hold of a black front & rear guards or wrap the red/chrome ones? It looks great. Pity the red/chrome is going to be dirty when you have the Suzuki for dirty work🤙
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
interesting venture i think. it also looks good with the red/chrome tank fitted too. so i'm sort of covered both ways. i actually picked up the pair of used matte black mudguards from ebay for $250 - i was planning to buy new but couldn't source the right colour. those were roughly $600 a set from india in sold and $700 in chrome. so for $250 which is nothing in $$$ its much better idea for me to do the swap than damage my chrome/reds on some rough dirt trail. i also thought about painting a blue stripe down the chrome red guards but once thats done it would be a real pita to rectify that one...lol so easier to just pull and replace the guards a bit of work involved but it went ok. some might like and i guess some might not..lol either way time will tell there.

@@ridewithwarro great idea to get a basic black colour as they are. No sense in getting the real deal if you’re using the Classic350 on dirt. I know you don’t go absolute bush bashing, but the main thing you now have is the sump guard👌 It is worth getting a petrol cap assembly & fuel pump from India rather than pull them off the red/chrome? That Scottish bloke I think has got a great setup red/chrome. Alloy wheels & tubeless tyres. Still has his original rims but it looks the part with alloys. Having 2 setups can get expensive when you only turn it back to original when it comes time to sell. Otherwise, it’s pretty pointless keeping stuff you never use again.

I don't like any of the modern classics with chrome for some reason. That looks a lot better with the grey and black tank.
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
looking at it today i actually think it looks older in the visual dept and more so than when i had the halcyon grey.
@ruahinesrider2 ай бұрын
Looking good Warro I prefer Halcyon Grey myself.
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
i was actually looking around after the clip and found a new petrol pump i could easily instal in that tank. i may yet try that out over a few days
@stup12992 ай бұрын
I wouldn't have thought it would work with the grey tank but it actually looks pretty good. Not a fan of chrome so a bit biased 🙂
@ridewithwarro2 ай бұрын
yeah i had a spare tank from the halcyon day grey days so i thought id add matte black front and rear guards and see how it looks. gives it that more off road look to match the new tread...lol
