In this video Bry gives us her opinion of the 2024 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 (346cc single cylinder engine). All up Bry has had this bike for a month or so which we feel is a fair amount of time for her to have a well rounded opinion.

Hi there from Australia - I bought one of these in Black and Gold a few weeks ago. I have to agree completely with the assessment on this video. I bought it because I'm 70 years old and my old 1984 BMW was getting too heavy to handle and after much research over a couple of months this bike was exactly what I was looking for. . I am totally smitten with the Bullet. I agree totally with Bry - it looks great - handles well - sounds amazing - and has enough grunt to ride around the Adelaide Hills. I highly recommend this bike as a lightweight but very rideable machine. . In my teens I (late 1960s) was lucky enough to have ridden in 1950s Bullet owned by a friend - back then it was an amazing bike. I am so happy that RE have produced a modern classic based closely on the original.

I have a Bonnie T120 and Recently the RE 350 Classic. I love the Bonnie but the Classic seems to be my go to bike for coffee shops and some country rides. Even thinking about taking the Classic on a long cross country. I've had many BMW's over the years and they are great touring bikes but I never got compliments on their looks but every place I stop with the Classic I get compliments. Of course it's nice to dress the part also. This from an 88 year old.

Very good review Bry. Great looking and sounding bike, and I’m glad you were able to put it through its paces on a variety of road surfaces. As you said , this bike was not designed for high speed motorways, and I think the negative comments that I’ve seen regarding the lack of power are misplaced. Very enjoyable watching you ride on the B roads which is my kind of riding. Thanks for taking us along. Cheers and ride safe, Dan ✌️🏍🇨🇦

About the mirrors - they look like the old style 70s mirrors, which you could adjust by turning the stem, then move the lock nut either way by hand, as it is now loose, then tighten the stem by moving it to the correct position. No spanner required!

Another great video review from Bri. She really does these well with no stupid machio male bits saying how slow it is. It's a perfect bike for what's made for. I gave up riding my 600cc Bandit when I was 77 because it was getting too heavy to manoeuvre when I wasn't actually riding it, would have loved this. A bike with ABS! fantastic I'd loved to have had that on my bikes, a real life saver.

@@jimstenlund6017 Definitely. My Bullet struggles to hit 70mph if there is a headwind or a slight incline. The Hunter hit 80mph with me on it and was fine keeping up with traffic on the short motorway trip I took it on. The twenty odd kilos really makes a difference.

I would have to agree with you on the 500.. I have a classic 500 and it is a lovely bike but very hard to ride above 55mph because of the vibrations. It will go over 80mph but it is downright punitive at that speed. A well balanced 500 would be a joy. When I test rode a 350 classic, I was struck by how comfortable it was.. the position was perfect, the engine smooth, the seat comfortable... I took it up to 60mph and wanted to weep... IF ONLY it had 5 more HP...

Its interesting and purely a personal view but the 1959 Bullet was streets ahead in both styling and performance. It was also a nice bike to ride as I recall. Somehow this new version doesn't live up to its namesake for me. I prefer the looks of the Hunter from the current crop but as I said earlier this is a purely personal opinion. Enjoyed the video.
@mockbattles
@mockbattles Ай бұрын
The smaller wheels on the Hunter give it shorter legs which makes it run out of torque earlier and limits its top speed. The Bullet is a better touring bike but I have no trouble manoeuvring at slow speed around town. The best turning circle I’ve ever known. The most comfortable bike I’ve ever ridden.

The one concern I have is surviving on the motorway when I have to. I have ridden the Meteor 350 a few times but never on any motorway. Hope to get the chance to try the Bullet this summer. 👍

I love and really appreciate all the videos you produce. I however find this newer style of review whilst riding worrying. The speed may be distorted on the video and look faster than it actually is, but to me it looks like it would be best to ride past pushbikes and cyclists slower, and doing less talking whilst riding sections, to allow better attention to yourselves and others. Several instances to me looked like the attention was on the talking and not on defensive riding...past side junctions, bends sharpening up etc.

Hi Dan, I've watched more of these Enfield 350 videos than I can count, and I have often thought that the speeds were nerve-wracking, only to notice that the speedometer (when viewable) indicates 35 MPH, or something like that. That being said, I do agree that in this video that there were several instances when I felt a bit uncomfortable for the rider - nearly missing corners, a couple of times when she stopped (putting both of her feet down in a manner that looked a bit panicky, or 1 foot down early and having to do an extra paddle with it), or just appearing on the verge of being out of control. So yeah, I think all of these guys and girls making vlogs shouldn't feel pressured to look like they're fast riders. It's a review, not a spectacle.

Hello, very good video, the question would be what substantial differences do you see between the classic and the bullet, the handlebar of the bullet is higher than the classic, does that make it more comfortable? And then what would it be like to ride this bike in a big city like London or Buenos Aires, would it be better to ride the hunter, I always speak with a passenger, thanks a lot,

The new classic and bullet share the same frame. So just a matter of aesthetics. Both bikes have superb comfort. The shocks are excellent. Brakes are good. Riding in busy streets and the highways too is extremely easy. The low end torque and excellent engine behaviour at low gears makes it amazing.

These bikes are not sport bikes, hold a steady speed. You keep flattening the throttle, then complain about it not being capable of 80 mph when the speed limit is 70mph, you could get a speeding fine on a smaller capacity modern bike you don't need to buy a great bike with character and feel of a Royal Enfield. I used to ride a Yamaha RD 350 and this RE350 wouldn't get near it, but the RE has a lot more class and feel than a Yamaha RD 350. People will buy these bikes because they look like a proper motorbike with real wheels, chrome, and character not for speed. My Dad had bikes like this, a Triumph Speed Twin, BSA's, and all sorts and they were used for daily transport in the 1940s and 50s these new Bullets and the Classic 350 are both very similar in design to the old bikes but with fuel injection, electronic ignition, push-button start, better brakes the lot my Dad would love them. They are built with class in mind not speed.

Still happy with my classic after 2 years Yup not fast Yup not lots of power. But with the Soul and Character lost on 99% of current modem riddled over complicated 😮 machines. That you can't even easily service yourself 60mph is its best cruising speed . So inside lane pacing with the lorries is fine. But not my favourite roads at all ,even when I rode a Kawasaki 900. Country lanes and B roads make for pure relaxed riding therapy on these little bikes Haven't enjoyed a bike so much since my old Matchless 650 G10 days. @@Antony_Shamarjit_Lee - I was on the RE Indian page looking at the Bullet before it came west. The 'heritage' angle was so nicely done, and the love and respect for the old one so nicely rolled up into the new one- it's not something we here in the USA are aware of. Given our near worship of heritage brands like HD and Indian, I'm hoping RE pushes that angle when it's finally introduced.

By 1970 Royal Enfield England went the way of the dodo and Madras Motors/Enfield India continued production. Norton/BSA and Triumph were and are Phoenix companies with no links whatsoever to the companies whose names they use. The bikes are Indian, built by Indians so what. No drive modes, no ABS, no traction control, no fuel pump, no LED lights, no cruise control. Even the speedometer runs on a drive and cable. p.s. don't you just love "legal safety requirements" for motorcycles , these laws being made 100% by people that don't ride motorcycles but drive a Honda Civic. ABS causes the stopping distance to INCREASE , FortNine proved it on a video test. You are better off without ABS if you know your bike well and know your brakes well

I would love a kick starter, especially if the battery is in the ICU 😂
