I've been riding motorcycles since 2013. My first bike? A little tangerine-orange scooter. Over the years, I've owned several motorcycles (some I've since sold) but am currently riding three - a 2013 Suzuki TU250X, 2009 Buell Lightning XB12SCG and 2020 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650. I've learned a lot in my motorcycling journey, but have so much room to grow! It’s a very small bike. Nice and tightly packaged. The foot pegs are weird when you’re stopped though if you have shorter legs. I love these bikes.

The Royal Enfield bikes are iconic and the Bullet range is used on the rides in the Himalayas. The are tough bikes and can take punishments. The compression from the engine does not have much horse power from it and you can't really do high speeds. But its great bike for quick runs or just chillax cruising. Nice bike, Joy, be safe and have safe rides.

Manufacturers need to take note, there's still a market for air cooled bikes with basic components, at a very affordable price. When my local motorcycle dealer get's a used one of these in stock, it's gone in literally days.

Great ride for its price. Engine guard keeps your knees from touching the hot engine (if you have long legs) foot pegs again are ok again if you have long legs. Watched you're video and its great! Nice direct review!

It's an awesome bike. I once owned an old Engine 350 from the 80's. There's always a true connection while riding Royal Enfield bike. Do u know why? Because the true character of the bike is not interrupted by electronics aids. Cheers 🍻

Thanks for the nice review. I went to the dealer and sat on the 650INT. I'm 5'5" 28" inseam. It seemed a bit tall, I didn't try the GT I thought it would be the same. Now I know it's not, so I'll go throw a leg over that one. The GT looks great, my favorite is the Mr Mayhem. The dealer also carries Triumph and I sat on the Speed Twin 1200. It fits like a glove and feels small and light. Another great looking machine. Only problem is that it's a lot more expensive. We'll see.

Whew. I was looking at the seat height for this bike for some reason on Google and it came up with 1024 mm so around 40 inches for some reason. Other sources say 31.1. I'm looking into buying one and when you said 5'3 and a half i was relieved. I stand about 5'5

Interesting. This is the 1st review of the Conti GT 650 that mentioned a foot peg interference problem. Usually, that problem is mentioned just in INT650 reviews.

As of March 21st, the BS4 version (which this is) was discontinued in India, and only BS6-compliant versions of all bikes are sold there, now.

What's the difference between bs4 and bs6 Gt's? Im planning to get this same color.... Looks really apart from the rest of the color lines...

@@Lon3wolf13 - From what I've read, the only difference is a catalytic converter on the BS6 model and a slightly higher price. The peak power on the BS6 motor supposedly remains the same as for the BS4 model. If the BS6 fuel mixture turns out to be too lean for smooth running at all RPMs, a Booster Plug would probably take care of that.

I'm 6f 2 and I ride continental gt 535 with no issues. I think gt 650 should be fine as well.

@@D22KS I used it for daily commute to work, about 25 minutes each way and sometimes for an hour at the time. I got used to the clip ons and they are not an issue. But, will be getting risers and a new handlebar for bit more comfort as I'm tall. But, if I couldn't install risers, I could still ride it with no issues.

The blue is my favorite too. The handlebars stock aren't too low so haven't noticed much pressure. Have only gone for rides up to an hour though, so can't speak for longer rides.

Well, its is just my 2 cents, but people watch KZbinrs because we connect with the youtuber in some way. I'd say, thats usually on the 'personality' level. If viewers only wanted tech/spec, they could simply Google the info. So its 'you' that we tune in for. You do have find something interesting to show or tell us. But it's that "intangible you" that keeps us watching. Like the visit to the VFW jet, it wasn't particularly typical motovlog material, but it interested you and therefore many of us enjoyed it thru you. You're doin' fine. I love the bar-end mirrors - they're Motogadget m.View Spy mirrors. I haven't noticed any vibration and I can see clearly. I like the size of them, too (they're not too small so that it's difficult to see what's happening).

I saw in the video you got yours for close to 7k but how close? Thank so much! I didnt buy it but im pretty sure in a few days I am going to. Great review!

Michael Sutton The price we paid was right under $7K. I think $6995ish. I was only able to get them down $50 so it sounds like maybe you’ll get a good deal on that one. The price though may differ depending on what color tank you go with. The Ventura Blue was one of the lower priced REs. You should be able to check REs website to see the price differences. I don’t think it would be too strong. To me, it’s a great step up from a 250. Not too powerful but enough to get you up to speed and stay there comfortably.

Nice review. You are quite little so might find some bikes just don't fit you too well. Your roads are poor aren't they, very grooved (but in the wrong direction so you tramline).
